This Gary's location has the Slowest Service of any restaurant in Augusta, Ga. There is one female employee and the 2 older gentlemen that work there are pleasant. All the other employees do not even come close to knowing what good Customer Service is.

We went to the orginal one because locals have told me that it's the best one. I went with 3 older ladies that have eaten here regularly. The place was clean and 50s music playing. The older lady at the front that took our order was great she listened carefully to our order and got it right. I ordered the junior burger with fries and a tea. The burger was great. It wasn't greasy. It was perfect size and temperature. The veggies were a great ratio to the burger and mayo too. The bun was a little harder than I liked but, all in all great burger. The fries were cooked to a golden color but, had no seasoning which isn't a deal breaker for me. The sweet tea was good and fresh. It was a great meal. I do half to say though. I'm not sure who it was that was cooking on the grill and hollering at the older lady that was taking our order. SHAME ON YOU. The way things are now I wouldn't be acting like that to people. Especially your senior workers. Workers are hard to come by.

I normally stop here for breakfast because I love the bacon. I stopped the other morning on my way to work and was very disappointed by the service. I waited at the drive thru for service for over 5 minutes. No one ever answered so I pulled around to the window. The lady proceeded to take someone else's order even though I was there first. She made me pull up then apparently forgot about me because I had to go ask about my food.

Always enjoy the food here and have for years. Had a little fun when they gave my food to the wrong person. Can't always be so serious. All worked out and had a little laugh. They are only open till 3pm right now until they get some evening help. So if ya know anyone!!!

Usually I have no problems coming here. My last visit was during breakfast. I didn't get all of my order. I didn't notice until I got home. Too far to go back. My fault, I should have checked before leaving. Food was hot. Staff friendly. I will continue to go, I will do better about checking my orders.

This is the third time I have went to the one on wheeler road and they have no sausage or the biscuits was not ready this morning I went there at 6:30 am and they had no pancake mix prepared So I drive to the one on Washington road I work on that road this is 6:45 and they were not even open. I wanted to pass this own I worked for Gary and I know he would not approve of this.

Hamburgers taste great. Customer service is poor, not friendly or welcoming at all. They need to fix there drive thru speaker and when you drive up make sure you speak because they will not greet you. You would never know if they are open unless you see another car in line.

It was an outstanding meal, to say the least. However, as I sat there and dined. Between the oldies playing softly in the background, and the kind, caring staff..... it was like being in a yesteryear, classic diner from the 50's and 60's. The gentleman that I believe was the manager for lunchtime(I wish I knew his name) he was an huge part of my personal experience here! That man is kind, and works hard. He makes it a point to come by and ask how everything is. Great guy! Great place to eat!

Amazing burgers with that homemade taste!! Their menu has more to offer than burgers so on my next visit to Augusta, I will be trying something different. I also love the decor that reminded me of what the diner from the sitcom Happy Days looked like.... Impressive ???
