Food was ok…. Nothing that great. Waitress was an old halmeoni who was so rude, I have no doubt it was the main reason the restaurant was empty during the lunch hour…..

Super friendly people. Highly recommend the Galbi! So tender and flavorful!

The owner is very rude. I wanted to try their restaurant for the first time but arrived after they closed and happened to park and begin walking to the door and two Korean women were outside looking and yelled we are closed. Her tone was rude and she lacked the curtesy to say, hello, ma’me, we are closed, this is our office hour. I realized after she yelled at me that she was the owner. I will not even give her restaurant a try. Does she not realize that her customers are the reason she has a running business —she needs humility and love.

This is my favorite Korean spot in Augusta! Don't let the reviews fool you! The owner is super sweet but there is a language barrier. Authentic delicious food and totally worth it! Everything came out in a timely manner. Very clean inside too!

The food was delicious and very obviously homemade and fresh. The owner was nice and was joking around with us, I don't know where people are getting she is rude from. Lovely experience!

I used to like this place. The food was good and at a good price. However, the price went up a lot. Also the owner said that if we order meals with meat, we would get only a little bit because they were out of meat. Most of the meals here are have meat as the main part of the dish... I wouldn't recommend coming if you don't want to paying the increased pricing for a dish that doesn't come in full.

Great Korean BBQ! The short ribs are the best! Highly recommended!

The food is okay, but the lady operating the phone is just rude. Like, I'm 100% in favor of having an authentic experience, but she's straight mean. She's the only reason I stopped going there.

So we went to this place for the first time and ate inside. The lady that runs this place is so rude, she doesn't care what comes out her mouth, she acted like she didn't like what me and my daughter ordered. My daughter asked for chicken fried rice and she told her we don't have any chicken, that the chicken is bad. We didn't eat all our food and she said you don't like the food? Got a attitude and walked away. She also said you only have one hour till closing. So pretty much I don't care how good you're foot is, your attitude is stank and I'm not going back.

Terrible service, overpriced food, food not made to standards. Do NOT go to this restaurant.

Really sad what happened today. Been in Georgia for 2 weeks now and thought I might get some comfort food. The owner's poor attitude and general negative demeanor was one thing. What made me literally drop my spoon and lose my appetite was her discriminatory and shamefully racist behavior to a couple of Black people that walked in. Not surprisingly the young people walked out. The verbal exchange was cringe-worthy. I had a mind to follow them out there and apologize on behalf of this rude lady although she's a stranger to me too. I'm Asian-American and I know how interactions like that hurt all of us. Prejudice and resentment builds, stereotypes develop, and potential connections get lost. She was rude to us from the beginning but she was downright disgusting to them. Please don't support this establishment.

When we decided that we wanted to have Korean food on a Monday this was the only restaurant in Augusta that was open. I’m glad that it was or we might not have ever tried it and the food was wonderfully delicious.I had the Bibimbap—soooo good! And my friends all had Bulgogi and they all commented on how good the flavor was. And, guys, I judge Korean restaurants on their cabbage kimchi flavor—and it was good. The staff were very kind—we came in about 45 minutes from closing and they allowed us to finish eating without feeling rushed (even though we left 10 minutes after they closed for the night). The Golden Garden Restaurant was a great find!
