For years, I ordered chocolates for gifts (and myself) from my favorite chocolate shop in Boston. I still love them, but now that I’ve tried La Bonbonniere, I will happily shop at this charming and absolutely delicious local spot! They have so many choices and none disappoint; everything is fresh and the flavors are well balanced. Also, I love the charming golf ball chocolates that are out for the Masters; they even have golf themed chocolate gift sets! They also do French pastries and baguettes on Saturday mornings—we haven’t tried that yet but always love authentic French treats and look forward to it—more to follow!

The chocolates here are extremely good. I got 12 pieces for my boyfriend and 6 for me. My favorite was the earl grey chocolate. It was delicious! I will definitely be coming back.

This is a small local place (they do have a second location in Aiken SC). This is a chocolatier. The prices aren't low, but the flavor is a different level than you get from generic chocolate. Their truffles and other options were aesthetically pleasing as well. The promised flavors, notably including a mint truffle and one with earl grey tea, hit the mark. They also had some packaged options, including those delightful little crunchy things that sometimes come with restaurant desserts but which I don't think I've ever bought for myself before. I received pleasant but not pushy service and had plenty of opportunity to peruse the small but packed shelves. I think I got an Amex small business reward for shopping here, but I was happy to do it regardless and glad to find that Augusta can support a real chocolate place.

Great service and beautiful chocolates to choose from! I was told the story behind the business and that they temper and mold all of the chocolates in-store! So cool! My mom loved these for Mother’s Day!

Got an assortment of 6. 5 of them tasted the same.
The chocolates are very much mid. The flavors don't taste as they should. The pumpkin spice doesn't taste like pumpkin. The creme brulee doesn't taste like creme brulee, neither did the salted caramel and etc. If you blind folded yourself and tasted them, you couldn't differentiate them. Very disappointed.

These handmade chocolates are smooth, flavorful, and much more delicious than anything you will get from a Russell Stover or Whitman's box. They're also more expensive, but you/your loved one is worth the treat! You can try a half dozen for about $10. Comes in a box with a colored ribbon + a QR code to the website so you can remember which chocolate is which.

This place is amazing! It is my go-to for any special occasions in my family. We’ve been coming here for years for chocolates and it is outstanding every single time.
