It is very hot in the summer time, IMO. I sweat easily but the breeze down near the savannah river is amazing. This market has something for everyone. Amazing food, handmade items such as soaps, jewelry, apparel, and cups. They have a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits locally grown. The flowers from the florists are beautiful. Very family friendly and a great way to spend any Saturday. They are open weekly March- November.
The best arepas!!!!! And the empanadas are amazing too, 100% recommend trying

The market in Augusta is an impressive sight, with a historic looking street and a path through to the riverwalk being lined with various merchants. It was less of a food source than I'd expected; there were a couple of farmer's stands but that certainly was not the majority.
