Experience at this restaurant was pretty strange. I went with my partner on New Year’s Eve for a nice 4 course meal. Overall service was pretty slow but I understand it was a busy night. I ordered a salad with pears for our second course and found a sticker on a pear when I was almost done with my dish. The waitress was very kind and we ended up being comped a small percentage of our meal… however a non optional group tip of 20% was added to our bill which I assume was added to insure we would tip even though we had an issue with our food. I was planning on tipping anyway and nearly added 20% on top of our total because I wasn’t expecting the group tip on a bill for two people. There was also a party going on in the main dining room so we were eating in some side room sitting on reception chairs. Overall really strange experience but our waitress was nice and they did comp some of our food.

There was a total of four in my party. We started off with Fried Green Tomatoes and a couple of House Salads. One order was fried chicken using duck fat, macoroni cheese and collard greens and everything was good. We also ordered shrimp and grits they were a little cold because of the time used to fry the chicken. There was also a Waygu Beef burger ordered well done and it was a little red on the inside. Dom who was our server was apologetic and made things right. There was also a lobster Mac & Cheese ordered. I didn't sample however others enjoyed. Overall the meals were good. This dinner was to celebrate my goddaughter's birthday.

This was not my favorite experience. I don't mind paying good money for food especially if it's spectacular! However, if you're going to charge Vegas prices, then I expect Vegas presentation and Vegas taste and it was not! I ordered scallops over risotto and for the $45 plate, I got 3 small scallops over overdone risotto. It was so overdone, it looked like grits. The atmosphere was less than and we were seated so close to the table next to us that we had to whisper to have our own conversation. This restaurant was not even packed either. I was unimpressed and will not be returning for a second try. I was truly disappointed. Sad in Augusta.

The food is extremely over priced and really not that amazing. The service is soooo soooo slow. That's the pic of my 20 dollar salad that took 30 min.

Visited this past sunday for brunch, because me and my friends heard good things. My experience was the complete opposite, As our waitress Rhonda took our food and drink orders.. we waited a 1.5 hrs for brunch. My friends never received their starters until they had to ask about them from our poor waitress RHONDA. The only good thing was the drinks for the bartender, their service was trash, the food was ok. My total came out to be 69.03 and I refused to leave a tip for such poor service. Days go by I check on my bank statements days later and seen that poor RHONDA decided to leave herself a $10 tip on my card without my permission, today Thursday February 29th I went back to the establishment to see if it was my mistake or not. Come to find out Rhonda went in the system herself and added money on my tab so she could receive a tip. I do not recommend this place, and I want Rhonda fired immediately, this is the worst experience ever!

What happened to this place? It has gone completely downhill. My girls & I attended for a nice brunch. Two of us ordered gumbo for our STARTER which we received literally a hour later. Of course, it was ice cold so we sent it back. We then received our main entree about 5 minutes after the gumbo was brought to us. Thankfully, the main meal had plenty of flavor, chicken was hot temp wise (I purchased hot honey chicken, green beans & mac. The other 2 ordered chicken & waffles). Aside from the food..I ordered a mocktail moscow mule that was terrible. I understand some bartenders may not know how to make it which is perfectly fine. I went up to the bar to try a different mocktail but the bartender acted as if she could care less so I told our waitress don't worry about it, I will drink my water. The waitress later returned to my table & gave me a glass of water with a ton of fruit filled to the top. Was unsure what that was about but I was thankful that she attempted to bring something? Overall, I am appalled by the lack of customer service & wait time. Oh, not to mention the young ladies rolling the silverware didn't have on any gloves. Will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

Just not sure where to begin. We were met by the hostess who was eating standing up at the reception area. Our waiter introduced herself by giving us a list of things that were not available on the brunch menu. (I believe there were 5 items.) First service was coffee which was lukewarm. Only thing remaining on the menu were eggs, grits and sausage. Silverware was crusted with debris which we promptly returned for clean utensils. Meal finally served after a 40 minute wait...grits were cold. At this moment, we decided to just stick it out...bad decision. Repeated attempts to get salt and pepper on the table...our waitress had a good attitude but just not properly trained.

This is always a great dinner spot or just stop in for drinks. Sitting on the veranda with the heaters made it a great meal before our concert. Ashley our server was great, as always!

There was no Valentine's Day special although I was told prior to making my reservation that there would be. The food items were very good but overpriced and under sized. Some of the items were served differently than described on the menu. The bill for 6 people was $540 with no alcoholic drinks, just a few coffees. Waitress was impressive and congenial.

Food was awful Macaroni and cheese was brought out black and burnt very distasteful the chicken was raw and then the same piece refried and brought back out so disgusting. I have been coming here for years and I must say the service and quality has declined

The food was excellent and the service great . We really enjoyed it. The hotel, bar, and restaurant are well worth a visit to Augusta I loved the fried green tomatoes, 3 cheese macaroni, and Brussels spouts . I don't eat meat or fish so these were excellent options for me . The pecan pie was the perfect end to my meal .

So we read quite a bit about Chef Thomas since we were staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located. The food was really good BUT not the WOW we were expecting based on the on line reviews and video interviews. The pricing was quite high for the value but that was over come by the great staff and service. The one thing that really bugged me was at breakfast...... they have gluten free toast/bread on the menu for $4.95...... I ordered it and much to my surprise I only got one piece of toast. When I asked the waitress about this she confirmed that indeed the order is only one piece at $4.95.
