“Excellent food and great staff as always. One of our favorite local Mexican restaurants and we are always seated quicklyParking: When the front lot is full there is parking around the rear of the building as the parking lot is shared with several other places including Top Dawg Tavern“
“The food is always wonderful! But what makes it even better is the service! I have never had bad service here. Nicolas was our server tonight and he went above and beyond. I will definitely be requesting his service again the next time we go and we are frequent visitors!“
“I would recommend this place just for Jenny alone but the food is just as amazing. They are welcoming, food is always hot and Jenny is so sweet. I definitely don't mind spending my hard earned money here any chance I get hungry. We are lucky to have this established in our community.“
“AMAZING!! We found Mals Krazy Krab on google search looking for restaurants in Monroe, Ga. So glad my husband found it. We shared the 20 piece Shrimp Boil (came with potatoes, corn and sausage); it was absolutely delicious, the service was wonderful and attentive. If you find yourself in Monroe, Ga. do your taste buds a favor and stop in to eat!!“
“When Rancho Viejo first opened, I had 2 bad experiences - the food wasn't prepared as ordered, the bartender didn't know how to make a drink that was on the menu, and the service was slow. I tried it again a few weeks ago expecting another bad experience. Boy, was I wrong! The service was spot on, the food was great, the drinks were perfect. Will definitely go again!“
“Small place but big menu. Seems like a local spot but the service and food were good. I ordered a Margarita and didn't feel a thing from it but that's okay, it wasn't crazy expensive. I had the grilled shrimp with avocado & tomatoes (forget the name). A full size was $20.99, which is a bit more than other places but they were very flavorful. I probably wouldn't order again at that price point but I'd go back and try other menu options.“
“Food Coma! Mimi and I haven't been to O'Shucks in a while as we keep running weekend errands in Athens. I'd rate this a 4.5 as I recalibrated a 5 Star Review for my NYC Vacay at Michelin Star Restaurants. This is a great neighborhood seafood eats that we both like to go to being FL Girls. Normally we have the smoked fish spread. But it looked like there was a menu update and I ordered a Dozen Fully Loaded Oysters which were baked with plenty of parmesan, garlic, and bacon. I had the Monster Fried Food Combo Basket but I'm not into fries and coleslaw. They let me sub out for boiled garlic potatoes and fried okra. My platter had fried fish, oysters, jumbo scallops and jumbo shrimp. I basically took an entire filet of boneless fish home. And I'm usually a big lunch eater who orders extra seafood on the side. Mimi had Whiskey Shrimp Pasta which was a cream sauce with caramelized onions and bacon which I've had before and is really good. Today's dessert special was a Tiramisu with Espresso soaked lady fingers and thick cream topping. Mimi opted for her go to dessert of a brownie with ice cream and toppings. The service is usually always friendly and great at this restaurant. We are definitely putting this back on rotation!“
“Wow! Their chicken is slept on ! Amazing food especially their homestyle chicken! I got the Tenders plate tonight and wife got the house salad w fried chicken, we called in and the lady was very nice and stated “it will be ready in 15 mins”Showed up 8 mins later as it is right down the street and the food was packaged and ready on the takeout counter! Great value and great service to match ! These tenders are HUGE!!!“
“Our food was amazing! The sesame chicken was cooked to perfection and the veggie lo mein was delightful! Crab ragoons were so good actual crab and not just fried cream cheese! Definitely going to try it again! By the 3rd day the food was still so good! Thank you, excited to come back!“
“Captain Ds in Monroe never disappoints. Employees are always friendly and professional, food is always fresh and never cold, and bathrooms are always clean as well as the dining area. Highly recommend eating here. If I could afford it, I would have dinner here at least four nights a week.“
“This was our second visit- the first we had dinner and it was outstanding. We mixed it up and tried the brunch menu. Low Country hash and the Green Eggs and Ham Benne (benedict). Our favorite was our little plate of the Shrimp and Grits. My husband's benedict was the next best, mine was overloaded in potatoes. Not a bad thing but a bit too much. A good meal and decent service. We also had two Mules - regular and a Rosemary Sage. Overall a good local restaurant when we don't want the usual.“
