An out of towner here…You must try the chicken salad…it was amazing! The brosket was pretty good too! Also, the lady at the counter is the reason I enjoyed this place more so than the food. When she told me that she was sad it was raining because she wanted to go trout fishing with the new ugly stick her “ole man” just bought for her, my heart filled with pure joy!!

Let me be clear here, I'm not generally the type of person that goes out of their way to leave reviews. But after my visit to this place, I had tell the world some way. Word of mouth just doesn't do it. I feel like I should climb to the tallest peek of the tallest mountain and inform the world the amazing brisket sandwich I had from this place. Everyone that has asked me about our trip to #BlueRidgega I've told about this place and more specifically, that sandwich. It was a perfect combination of tenderness and crispness, the smoke flavor on top of whatever kind of homemade concoction they use to bring out the flavor inside that meet is beyond my ability to put into words. I devoured my first one and then asked for seconds. I couldn't get enough of that flavor. The employees there graciously helped me with my new addiction that is they're brisket. I will return to Blue Ridge if not for anything else but their brisket sandwich. I hope this review makes it out into the world and help all those people out there questioning where to go for lunch. Brisket... it's what's for dinner breakfast and lunch maybe.

Sad if I’m being honest. Place is full of food lion products. If I’m at a legit barbecue joint, bland food lion Mac n cheese is a massive fail. Ordered collard greens and got a bowl of nothing but collard stalks. Food lion drinks in the cooler….ribs were very forgettable. Not many places I regret going but this is for certain one of them. Never again.

It took 25 minutes standing in line with 3 orders in front of us.45 minutes from finally ordering to receiving our food. And on top, when it did come out, the meat was cold but the sides were hot.The quantity and quality of the pork, chicken and beef with sides of slaw, potato salad, beans, mac and cheese were sub par. The chicken and pork looked like they sent it all through a wood chipper. All chopped up in little pieces. They are WAY over priced. The sauces weren't very good either. The hot sauce wasn't even hot.Needless to say, we should have gone to the grocery store and made lunch at home. Disappointment after a great morning in downtown Blue Ridge.

They were out of the Brunswick stew and the mac-n-cheese so I had coleslaw with my BBQ brisket sandwich. Both were tasty.

We used to eat here often and loved it. The portion sizes now have dramatically decreased and the prices gone up inconsistently with market, additionally the service is rude. We’ll be finding a new bbq place, what a shame, this one just remodeled too.

What’s not to love? The place smells great. The fried pork skins are awesome. Two thumbs up on the BBQ sandwich. Smoked sausage links are fantastic.

Love the new layout and decor! Great choices and service! The ribs were amazing... Meaty and juicy and two ribs with baked beans and potato salad were plenty for a lighter lunch so we split the half rack.

We arrived at 5pm and they close at 6pm. We had a group of 12 and they treated us great. They must be a Christian business because scriptures were on every wall. Food was excellent and service was great. Highly recommend.

Love their BBQ sandwiches. Nice outdoor seating. I had my dogs in a stroller, but they do not have a ramp for strollers and wheelchairs. Which I thought was strange.

This used to be our go-to favorite place in Blue Ridge to eat. The chicken salad is now terrible and the menu has been drastically cut down. I do not recommend eating here anymore. Couldn’t even finish my meal.

Good, but not great. Hubby and I stopped in on our way to the human society after adopting a puppy at paws in the park. Very cute hole in the wall mom and pop style restaurant. I was not overly. Impressed with the food. They do not have sauces at the tables rather a communal table with sauces to choose from, they did not have a sweet option which is usually my go to. The sauce is good but nothing to write home about. Overall it was a good experience but we won't be back.
