First time customer. The food and service was wonderful. Had the homemade vegetable soup and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the lobster roll.

Ordered large salad and two sandwiches. Salad was very good and dressing was excellent. Our problem was with the two sandwiches and server. “Hot Brown turkey and Cuban pork sandwiches. Both the turkey and the pork were dry, tough, overcooked and tasteless. Gravy on the Hot Brown was Luke warm and congealing. Potato salad and Cole slaw were good. Server was very poor: smirky and sarcastic. Asked for salad dressing on the side and server went through numerous facial expressions, so he asked him what the problem was. He said, I told you the dressings were good. Poor service coupled with sub par food made for a very negative experience.

I’m not sure why the red sauce pasta on the kids menu is spicy but it is and my daughter didn’t eat it. I tried it too. They say they’re farm to table and that may be true but I’ve eaten at multiple high end restaurants that are farm to table. I had the burger since it was lunch and my son did too. Honestly everything was subpar. Service was below average and then they give you the machine suggesting 20,25 and 30 percent gratuity. That alone really upsets me. I’m sick of Tipflation and I say that as someone who has relied on tips before. 20 is the standard for excellent service.Allow me to suggest, 15,20 and 25 as a compromise. Yes, there is a “custom tip” option but the suggested tip feels like coercion. We’re all sick of it. I’ve had better service and food at chain restaurants like Chilis.

Fantastic food and friendly service. Great atmosphere, although it's a little tight between tables. Great place for a date night. The specialty cocktails are very good and the food is delicious.

We were very disappointed with the quality of the food after reading the reviews and seeing the restaurant written up in two independent publications as a must try. We tried the three cheese charred corn and bacon queso dip as an appetizer which we found very bland. It was served with chips that looked like they came from the bottom of the bag. Our waitress even commented on the broken chips. For our entree we chose the Bell & Evans chicken breast with smokey collard casserole, chicken gravy and roasted Yukon gold potato. Once again we found it very under seasoned. We typically find most food over salted so for us to feel the need to add salt, the food is definitely under seasoned. The chicken was not super tender and the potato tasted like it was roasted earlier but not reheated in a manner that gave it a roasted potato texture. We sat downstairs in the bar area and our waitress and our service were both very good. Based on the accolades of the chef/owner and reviews of the restaurant I can’t help but think there has been a change of ownership and/or chef, we won’t return.

Had two lovely meals here this week. We had the pimento cheese and house made pickles, the brie, the duck, the harvest salad and the cuban. All were very good, especially the duck. Jamison took care of us at the car on the first visit and Bobby at a table on the second visit. Everything was perfectly timed, hot and delicious. Really good wine selection too. We will definitely visit every time we're in Blue Ridge.

This is our second visit and it was not as good as the first. Even the trout dip that was fantastic last time was just ok. The pork chop was very well done, to the point of having to send it back. The duck confit was unbalanced to the point it was sweeter than the dessert. The two stand outs were The Local, a refreshing and strong cocktail and the hot brown.

Huge disappointment. The bar had been set very high by our previous dining experience here in early fall of 2020. That experience was so amazing that we made a special stop in Blue Ridge on this trip just to eat here. Not sure if a different chef now or not but there was a huge difference in the overall flavor and seasoning of the food and not in good way. It was a Monday night so their main chef may been off so perhaps on the weekend you may have a better experience. The drinks were great as well as our service.
