Love stopping at Mercier every time we go to Blue Ridge. We enjoyed the apple blossom tour.

Stopped today (Labor Day weekend). The place was extremely busy, stood in line for awhile to get APPLE pies. I was instead given peach...now I have $20 worth of pies I can't eat, and it's not like I can go exchange them, I live almost 300 miles away. Yes, I guess it's my bad for not checking them before I left...but really! Does APPLE sound anything like PEACH!!!Update:Here I am, stopping at Merciers again for fried pies, and STILL didn't get what I ordered. Do I need to write the order down and give it to the clerk, or maybe have them cut the pies open before I leave to make sure I get the right thing! GEEZ this should not be that difficult!

We were between seasons. Nothing to see or pick, but the store was like a small Walmart. Apple tasting, wine tasting and a full bakery, . I will go back.

They have about a million products here besides Apple stuff. Basically a huge gift shop. They have fresh fudge and fresh baked goods here as well. And of course apples! Everything was on the expensive side.

Great place!Quick tour on the tractor, quick bite at the bakery (but don't be the first one there they might not have everything out). You can walk the lap around the pond and sit and enjoy the view.Plenty of things to shop around for inside. Friendly staff.Be aware that this is considered a dry county and if here on a Sunday most places will not serve, or allow purchase of alcohol until 12:30
