I wanted to love this place. The servers were friendly. I am going to chalk my experience up to out of season dining. I really hope they provide better quality food at a premium price during in season dining. Avoid fish at all cost during out of season dining in Blue Ridge. Never had fish that was not edible before. I could not cut it with a knife. My wife steak was cooked like jerky after they were animate about only cooking it to medium rare temp, which is our standard when it comes to steak. The Brussels sprouts had a wonderful char to them, but somehow they were so mushy! The special appetizer Barrata on Ciabatta bread was good but it had a 6” hair in it. Hopefully it was just a bad night, they did the right thing and removed all the food from our bill. For the price of this restaurant you have to be better. Wish y’all luck and hopefully this was a one off situation.

Google says open on Tuesday, but no. Drove a long distance to dine here.

We went on Saturday night There was no wait when we walked in the door. The hostess was very nice and welcoming. The waiter came by got our drink order than we don’t see him for another 15 to 20 minutes. He finally came back took our order We ordered a shrimp cocktail the hostess brought it to our table and my daughter ordered the hamburger it was supposed to have bacon and a sauce on it. Nothing but cheese was on it. It didn’t have any taste to it the other waitress brought it out. We needed a refill on our water and sprite never got one. We never seen out waiter again till he brought us our ticket. He stood at the bar talking to some guy and never came to ask if we needed anything or to ask about our food. It was a very expensive and bad experience. Don’t waste your money

Came here for dinner and was very excited. Menu is very limited. We never got refills on our drinks. Our burger that was $25 didn’t even come with toppings it stated on the menu. Waiter never came back to check on us and we were left to eat it. Definitely will not return or recommend.

Atmosphere & service was excellent ! Beautiful scenery and vibe . Our server was attentive , efficient and accommodating. Now on to the food , unfortunately the flavor wasn’t there . It lacked seasoning , and umph . Presentation was ok . For the price , we as a group did not think it was worth it .

We were really looking forward to dining here while in Blue Ridge for the weekend based on the atmosphere and online menu and the fact that they offered truffle mac & cheese and truffle fries! We mixed up our dinner reservations and arrive late - but Tasha the hostess was so gracious and got a table for us. The Roasted Beet Salad was AMAZING and we were excited from the rest of the menu items we ordered but unfortunately, our experience went downhill after the salad. Our server kept forgetting our drinks, we had to ask for appetizer plates to share the salad, our truffle dinner sides came out with our appetizer (the Fish Sticks which were meh) and then the overpriced red snapper was overcooked, dry, and had raw sliced fennel on top. It was really odd. I was so excited to eat parmesan truffle fries but they were unremarkable and lukewarm. The truffle mac & cheese was decent but not much truffle on either item. If you're going to offer truffle items, you really should make sure there is a healthy serving of truffle on there. I hate to give a restaurant 3 stars but I'd just have drinks here and go elsewhere for food. Maybe they were having an off night but we had a rather disappointing evening and will try another establishment in the future.

Atmosphere was great! Our server was excellent. The steak was was perfectly rare, as ordered, however it was so salty it was not edible. When we sent it back, we were told that replacement steaks would be the same way, (i.e. just as salty) so we settled for another dish, but we really wanted the steak…Very disappointing. We did not understand why they could not cook a replacement steak with less salt, which would have been preferable. All in all, we probably would not go back, especially considering we spent nearly $200 on a meal that was disappointing.

ROE: Raw Oyster Bar & Steak in Blue Ridge, GA presents a mixed experience. While the steak lacked flavor and was disappointingly bland, the pork chop stole the show with its perfectly cooked texture and amazing taste. Despite the inconsistency, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, thanks to the cozy ambiance and somewhat attentive service.

Awesome oysters! We went here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed everything. The cocktails, the service, and the food were all excellent.

Nice little place and service was good but the Mac & Cheese came and tasted like Kraft straight out of a box and were cold. They redid them and then they tasted much better. Oysters and the charred Octopus were the best part.

I would not waste my money if I were You. Miserable food! I ordered a swordfish steak, and they brought out to pieces of some kind of fish that looked like 2 dry thin cut breakfast pork chops and the worst Brussel sprouts I have ever had. Longhorn never misses! My family got a couple of trays of Oyster shells that looked like somebody else had already eaten the oysters from, but left the little nubs of meat that hold the oysters in the shell. It was very disappointing because the place looks like it would be delicious.

My go to spot in Blue Ridge for a great seafood dinner! Everything is fresh and tastes delicious. Love their speakeasy type bar in the back for after dinner cocktails too!

I'm new to Blue Ridge and tried out many restaurants/bars. And by FAR, this is the best place I've been. (Actually anywhere and I've been a lot of places around the country as well as Europe). I usually eat at the bar because the bartenders, Matt, Anthony & Kyle are awesome! They make all kinds of cocktails I've never heard of or tasted (and if you don't like it? They'll fix another to your liking)Food? Awesome! I'm a beef eater and had the filet Pittsburg style. Warm pink center, charcoaled outside. Not many restaurants have the heat to pull this off, but they do. The chef is from New York and knows his sea food! The manager Tosha and owner Patrick are awesome!Atmosphere, camaraderie are extraordinary. I could go on but I think you get the idea. .

We came here while on vacation in blue ridge and the first thing that happened when coming into the restaurant was the host having a huge attitude and then proceeded to cuss at us and be very snappy …on top of this our food was not to great and the steaks were not cooked right al all …very overpriced considering the experience was horrendous and the food didn’t meet up to expectations to top it off… they did comp our meal for us considering the steaks were not cooked to right… I would’ve been okay with everything else if it wasn’t for already stepping into a new restaurant and getting cussed by the host and being very rude…she seemed like she literally just hates her job

We had our 40th anniversary dinner there. Food was great and service staff were all very nice. Dinner was pricey so appropriate for special occasions.
