“The atmosphere is great, the service from the staff is great. However, after a certain time of night, when you have to wait to be seated, you could be standing there forever! Get there before the music starts and you won't have to pay the cover. AND the live music is so so so loud! I'm not an old fogie at all, and I've spent most of my adult life in dive bars, but this is beyond abnormally loud! You can't not talk at all without screaming unless you sit outside! Such a disappointment. But that is the only reason I didn't give it five stars for a dive bar! Everything else is stellar! And lastly... they don't care about making you feel welcome, so just go in (past the "wait here" sign), sit down, and get their attention!“
“Today we visited Chester. The food and service were stellar like it has been for the past 4 years. Today there was a middle age woman that was the hostess the couple that was eating with us was coming from the bathroom when he overheard the hostess asked a Hispanic men if he had a green card. Odd thing to ask. To be fare there was a language barrier. Men was very appropriate dress for dinner. I understand if the men were asking for an alcoholic beverage to require id but not a green card. But my understanding is you do not need a green card to go eat at any restaurant. Maybe the middle age woman was letting him know that as long as he had green money it was all he need it. A few other staff approached the woman and proceeded to say to her that if he came back they will take care of him.“
