The staff and food are both fantastic. The burgers are so good and are piled with high quality toppings. We sat on the patio and despite the cold weather, we were toasty warm with the heaters that were out there. Can’t wait to go back because I have been DREAMING about their Kimchee Slaw ever since we dined here!

This place is awesome. Why not Five Star? I'm reserving that for the best. We've all gotten to Liberal with Five Star. Services counter but everybody's still very nice. The food is very good Al and it's a cool little mountain town Breakfast place with great ambience

We came to Blue Ridge to escape Atlanta and we stumbled upon the Dogwood in the downtown area. Their burgers are to die for. We had the Shroomy and Hangover Burgers with tater tots. Ladies be sure to try the Blue Ridge Bramble, I switched the vodka out for tequila and fellas try out the Blood Orange IPA. ?? We even got some wings to go! Let us know what you think. The service is beyond amazing and everyone is so kind. Thank you for the experience!- @locdinloveandlocal

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They go by the name Bigfoot Biscuits in the morning and then the Dogwood for lunch and dinner. Cool concept and cool place and environment. This is a review that I thought about not even writing because I wanted to like this place so much. We've been to their sister restaurants (same owner) Black Sheep Restaurant and Grace Prime Steakhouse, also located in Blue Ridge and we love them. In fact, it was those amazing experiences that caused us to go here when we found out it was the same owner. Well, it's honestly stunning that the owner can have two top notch restaurants that was essentially flawless in terms of menu selection, quality of food and service and then one be so lacking in those same areas. We arrived about 8:30 am and I honestly think there was one person in the kitchen and I know there was only one person on the floor. You ordered at the bar (that was not made clear at all) and that took forever as she would have to take an order and then go run and deliver food and come back (all while cleaning off tables too along the way). That should have been my clue to decide to come back another day when they have more staff (I'm hoping this was just a fluke). Menu was limited but, looked good. Anyway, we ordered and set down. They were out of Diet Coke so it was water for us and I got a coffee. The coffee was lukewarm but, tasted decent. After a very long wait, we got our food. The hit was the tater tots with bacon, cheese and a Chipotle sauce. The miss was essentially everything else. The biscuits were terribly overcooked, the sausage was maple sausage (no other option and simply tasted like a maple syrup covered pork patty. The sausage gravy tasted reheated, old and was also lukewarm. I am not sure I would like the biscuits had they been fresh but not certain. They seemed to have a sweet cake type texture and flavor as opposed to a southern biscuit. Again, it could have been because they were so overcooked...not sure. The service was non-existent. We saw her at the bar taking our order after that excruciating wait and then when she dropped off our food. That was it. She never stopped by again. This was one of the biggest disappointments I've had in a restaurant in a long time because I had built it up in my head that it would be a food quality and service experience on par with Black Sheep and Grace. It couldn't have been more opposite of an experience. I will give them another shot in a few weeks and will update this review at that time. I'm hoping it was just a really off morning for them because they were short staffed.

Me and my fiancé were looking for breakfast places in the area and they were few and far between to say the least, We ended up at The Dogwood and I'm so glad we did! Staff was on point and so was the food! Really cool place to sit for breakfast and enjoy a good warm breakfast!

We ate breakfast here one morning and we had the best biscuits we've probably ever had. The atmosphere was welcoming and even though they were busy the service was fairly quick.

We tried to book a dinner reservation last minute for our last night in town and couldn’t get anything. We stopped in here and the food was excellent. Simple menu but very good. The inside is small, but they have a back patio with winter drop downs and heaters. We were very comfortable. The service was excellent and the manager stopped by to check on us. Would definitely eat her again if in town.

We came for their Bigfoot Biscuit breakfast. We both ordered the Sasquatch and split an order of breakfast tots. Lesson learned, one biscuit! Friendly staff! Highly recommend!
