I drove an hour once I heard that today was the last day they'd be open and I've been waiting to try them. It was so worth the drive!! Everything we ordered was so delicious! The customer service was just as amazing too! I had the opportunity to meet Lady K and she is such a beautiful soul. We wish you many blessings and prosperity on your new venture Lady K. Brunswick is definitely losing a gem.

Best breakfast I've had in Brunswick. Incredible service and delicious food. I'm planning on having their pancakes and breakfast sandwich every weekend.

Fresh tasty breakfast! The biscuits are amazing! One suggestion-For a small business any business is $$. Leave your breakfast menu until at least noon. Arrived at 11 and breakfast wasn't being served. We left along with two other customers.

Absolutely wonderful experience! So friendly and welcoming. We met Lady K and got a picture. Not often you get to meet the chef of the delicious food. Fish was perfectly fried and seasoned and the grits…PERFECT!

I ordered a seafood bowl for my husband for lunch through Island time takeout. He said it was delicious.

We searched out Lady K's new business location on Altama and boy, were we glad we did!!! The seafood grit bowl had my hubby wishing he had moved out of his comfort zone ...which is scrambled eggs..they were good but he liked my grit bowl. I'm sure next time he'll go for something special! Please stop by this amazing ladies restaurant. She gives, gives and gives to our community, we need to show her some love by giving her back!

First time trying this restaurant, and I definitely would like to return. I went for Sunday brunch. My first choice was chiterlings, because I haven't tried them since childhood. The last portion had just been served, so I chose fried chicken. To be honest, I'm not sure if the sides were homemade or canned, but the chicken was definitely fresh. It took 15 extra minutes, but no complaints here, because it was made when ordered and actually too hot to eat! It was perfectly fried and crunchy, not overly seasoned. The cornbread was a tad dry, but had a very good flavor. My entire meal with 2 sides was around $12 after tax.The server was a friendly young lad, and I was delighted to meet "Lady K," herself as I was leaving.I can't wait to try more of your food!

If you aren't in a hurry and enjoy good home style food for breakfast give this place a try.You can tell the food is more crafted than mass produced and the flavor shows. The home fries were done with just the right amount of crispness without being over cooked. The garbage can omelette did not disappoint. It is over stuffed with all kinds of goodness and flavor. The portion size may be more than some eaters can handle, but it was perfect for this hungry man.Even the toast was a cut above. It isn't the standard cheap white sandwich bread toast, but a thicker toast that browns up with a bit of crunch but still maintains a certain tenderness. As good as the food was I do have a few concerns.1. It doesn't seem as the seating process has been totally streamlined. A quicker access to menus for the customer would help satisfaction and speed up the ordering process.2. The few staff I had interactions with were quite friendly and helpful, but they could have probably used one more. Total time from door entrance to food was almost 40 minutes and that is too long for some people (although in our case this day was fine)3. I am concerned that the processes need to be tweaked to improve their capabilities to handle a full dining room.In summary: the food was excellent but continued success may depend on small logistical adjustments

We like shopping local and tried this place for lunch. Prices are a little too high. $31 with tip for a pretty good cheese burger and fries, a 4 sides veggie plate and 2 teas. I didn't recognize a vibe on what they are trying to accomplish that would make it stand out from the crowd.

Next best thing to a home cooked meal.

Completely unprofessional manager or owner not entirely sure her position or title seeing as she did not introduce herself. Had the nerve to ask me a question and then cut me off before I could answer. Held her hand up for me to stop talking then walked away.
