I pass this place several times a year, and I noticed it was always busy. Finally, I stopped in to see why. And it can be explained in only two words — the FOOD. Yes, the place is crowded, yes, the service staff is laconic at best, yes, you have to serve yourself buffet style…. BUT - the fried chicken is delicate and tender - delicious.

Love this one and Valdosta locations, food tastes fresh and hot always plentiful.
Darn good southern comfort food prepared with fresh ingredients!I'm diabetic and gluten intolerant so I love their fantastic selection of veggies: collard greens, green beans, carrots, cabbage, squashes, more types bean than you can shake a stick at! corn (on the cob, cream style, & regular), fried okra, fried squash, peas and potatoes (mashed, baked, buttered red, french fries).The smoked meats are not pre-smothered in sugar bomb BBQ sauce.

It is usually a 5.. usually. There are times it is lacking, so overall a 4. It is decent for buffet food. I do recommend seafood nights. But there are some times they don't shake the grease off the fried food which makes it real nasty. They also usually overcook the smaller pieces like the shrimp and crawfish. But when they get it right.. it is super nice buffet level food. The servers have all been great and attentive. Have had less than a handful of issues, so not worth griping over, just off nights.. which happens. They are human. But generally super amazing people.
It costed $50 for three people to eat.
