Food is great and reasonably priced. Dam Yanke draft is very tasty and a 22 oz beer is about $8. Service was phenomenal and the servers super friendly and full of smiles. Love this place. And, they are dog friendly.

Service and food were amazing! They have such great prices already, but on top of that they have $2 beers for happy and even after happy hour they beers are still cheap. Huge portions, we had so much left overs. We will be coming back whenever we are in town!

We stopped in to enjoy a Sunday dinner with a side of lakeside sunset. There was a bit of a wait for a table outside. Once seated, our server was polite and genuinely apologetic when my soda was forgotten for an extended period of time. It appeared extraordinarily busy (and surprisingly short staffed) so we quickly ordered our appetizer and meal at the same time to avoid return trips to the table. Unfortunately, this resulted in us waiting about 45 minutes for any food AND our appetizer arriving with our dinner. We ordered an oyster app, the scallop bistro salad and the ahi tuna salad. The food that arrived was to temp (though I kind of wished the ahi tuna was served warm instead of chilled) and the portions were generous. I particularly liked that my salad was loaded with sliced almonds and the ginger dressing was delicious. The crab stuffed oysters were good, though there was quite a bit of cheese and I didn’t taste any crab. (I love cheese so this didn’t bother me). The ambience was great and the music matched the mood you’d expect from a lakeside restaurant. Overall we had a nice evening and will definitely make a return trip hopefully soon. I know they experienced unusual events that affected service. As someone who works in hospitality, I think in the future, having the staff communicate expectations and/or delays at the start of service when days like that happen could go a long way in customer understanding.

This is the perfect spot toCome and bring the family (or even just for an adult night). With the open patio and bar outside you can even bring the dog!The food is ALWAYS great! The staff is anticipatory especially for regulars. It’s my favorite little home away from home. Between kareoke and live music, you literally cannot go wrong in choosing this place as your “Go-To.” It’s like mixing a Friday Night out with your besties with A Family Dinner. It’s the best of both worlds! The chicken wings are my favorite on the menu, quickly Followed by the club sandwhich- which is large enough to share! The mac and cheese is of course a favorite for the kids. But even better are the salty balls appetizer or the fried green beans… even the fried mushrooms. I haven’t had anything on this menu that didn’t leave me wanting to come back for more!If you’re looking for a fun place, that also tastes good- go to Toucans!

This place is awesome! Drink and Beer specials. Food arrives hot and fresh. I gotta say,, try the grilled Shrimp. It’s perfectly cooked paired with the best cocktail sauce you have ever tasted! Pass on the fries and try the roasted potatoes or the fried Okra. I will certainly return when I’m in the area.

It was our first time at Toucan's Ale House. We had cheese sticks, a grilled chicken caesar salad & a cheeseburger. The. cheese sticks were very good - you get six. My caesar salad was just okay. It wasn't bad, but I have definitely had better. The cheeseburger was pretty good. Our server was very friendly & really attentive. There was a good size lunch crowd.

Glad we came before 6pm, as the place filled up quickly. Food was very good and PLENTIFUL! Erica was our server and was wonderful and her service was courteous, attentive without being intrusive. Upon being served (fish & chips) we immediately asked for a to-go box because we KNEW we were not going to be able to eat it all. When we visit this area again, this will be a must-stop.

We ate at Tucan on our way to SC for vacation. Dock Junction was our halfway point. The Best Western within walking distance where we stayed recommended it the first time. We were so pleased with the food and staff we decided to stay and eat there on our way back home, too!Parking: Lots of parking. However, we were staying at a Best Western Plus, which was within walking distance.Kid-friendliness: Saw several children each time we ate there. Kids menu, too.Wheelchair accessibility: Saw someone in a wheelchair, so assume there is assessibility.
