Not worth the price. The only thing good is the chicken teriyaki. The fried rice was bland, no flavor. The chicken egg roll had a weird after-taste. The Cajun potatoes had very little salt added to it. It wasn't busy and there was no line when I got my food but the employees were trying to rush us and get us to make a decision quickly. Would not recommend.

It’s very confusing with the reviews since maki Japan and Asian chao for some reason swapped names. Now online they have the reviews all mixed up. Asian chao is now the spot near Chick-fil-A in the mall which used to be called maki Japan. Anyways this place is way better than the one on the otheride which is now called Asian chao. The chicken may not be as fresh grilled, but it doesn’t just taste like straight up oil. I love the noodles here always wishing they have more.

The food is extremely greasy but customer service is worse. I was charged extra for food that I didn’t even order. Before I could put my card back in the wallet. I asked for a receipt and the cashier lady got so upset and asked why I didn’t ask her before she rang up the customers behind me. She said it was my fault that she had to spend an extra 37 seconds printing the receipt. I ordered the $8.99 meal with no drink and my total was $11.76. They are over-charging people here. Please beware and pay attention to your receipt.

Ate here on July 22, and found bugs in my food (ordered fried rice and orange chicken). I immediately went to the counter, and they did give me a full refund, but I can’t get past the bugs. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but that’s a different level of unsanitary ??♀️

I NEVER leave reviews, whether I have a good or bad experience. I just mind my business and move on with my life. But the customer service here is absolutely atrocious that I had to leave one. The people working here, particularly the older Asian man, was absolutely rude, yelling at the customers and berating his staff (a younger latina girl). There wasn’t a long line (maybe because people know not to come here) but he was still rushing and yelling at the customers to hurry up. He then proceeded to give me tiny portions of the chicken and then practically threw the plate at me and proceeded to yell at me for not picking it up immediately. The food was also not good, overpriced and very greasy, and left me very gassy. If you’re gonna eat at the mall eat ANYWHERE but here.

Manager spit on my food, shouted and yelled at people. Charged $22 I didn’t order, and argue about how I did it when I did not do it. He’s a scammer and a fraud faking people’s orders. Negative five stars on this idiocracy and high-tempered robber on white apron. Oh, and he kicks you out of his restaurants for doing absolutely nothing other than being kind, and spits lies about everything all the time like it’s nothing. This restaurant is a fraud.

The rice just tasted like soy sauce and very greasy, could go lighter on the soy sauce. The green bean tip were not removed and some had long pieces hanging out of the green beans, they were also mushy either sitting out for along time or over cooked. The orange chicken was the only thing that was okay which didn’t taste too bad. However I did have a upset stomach the day after could be the food, but can’t confirm. Also they charged me about two dollars more for two sides and one meat but I only got one of each.

Food was good until I found a rock in my food almost broke a tooth..TBH the piece that was in the food looked like a piece of tooth but none of my teeth were broken. And all I can think about is chickens don’t have teeth but dogs and cats do so I don’t think I’ll be eating there again honestly….So I went back up to the restaurant to tell someone they just smiled and said thank you and did offer different food but I said i was good to and make sure they take precautions. And seeing all the reviews just now I wouldnt recommend eating there ?

Nasty restaurant and unsanitary employees. One day my son saw roaches crawling around the counter.On 23 June 2023, they had a lady with a sample bowl. People were reaching in the bowl grabbing toothpicks with samples. The bowl was low so the lady gave another employee the bowl and got a fresh bowl; however the lady behind the counter dumped what was left from the bowl that people were getting toothpicks out of and dumped the remaining food contents in with the fresh food. I will never eat at this restaurant. Apparently the owner was there as he was encouraging the employees to offer samples to everybody walking by and telling the employees what to do. He sad nothing to the employee. Horrible environment. I do not understand why people choose to work in the food industry but not handle people food properly and according to serve safe standards.

As a former teenage mall rat, I hold a special place in my heart for food court Chinese. This is not one of those places. Sesame chicken was drenched in oil and sauce (to cover disgusting meat). Bourbon chicken was nothing but fat. Not sure it was really chicken. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog.
