We were at Local Tap on a Saturday night and they told us to leave at 9:30 making us pay our bill. They said we could re-enter but we needed to pay a $10 cover!!!! Ridiculous to send paying customers out!!!!

Absolutely horrible. I do not recommend. I work in the industry, i know what it’s like. This was the worst experience i’ve ever had at a bar or anywhere for that matter.A group of mine regularly go to Tequila Mama right across from Local Tap. I’m social and I found out that they have a partnership, obviously, I’m thinking this means values and morals are the same. Apparently not. We thought it looked pretty cool from the outside, but the hostess i was met with was very condescending, she’ll tell you one thing and once you’re ready to leave, it’s a whole other issue. Ridiculous. I come out to hear there’s an issue with my friends outside. And what is it about? RACE. My friends were all Hispanic. The hostess refused to tell me her name and the only thing she said was my friends were talking about her “accent”. What was her accent you ask? According to her, it was “hispanic”. What hispanic bullies another hispanics accent?? Especially from the same place??? None. The hostess felt threatened in her position and caused a scene while I was inside. When I came out l was met with a situation I absolutely could not believe. The hostess said my group was being racist towards her “hispanic accent”. What? Anyway, after finding out the issue, I asked what hostesses’ name was as a thank you for helping me prior, and she replied with “you don’t need to know my name”. Who says that unless they’re being shady, untruthful, and not standing towards their word? Security tried to remove everyone for absolutely no reason, but unfairness. Instead of talking about the “problem” at hand with the person directly involved (ME), they escalated the problem with false allegations. Tried to kick all of us out after condescending words told to me TONIGHT. What did security have to say about it? “It doesn’t matter what her name is or what she said, come back later.” Absolutely not. Steer clear of this place, even the guests accepted into this establishment had negative things to say. Even though i’m not a “Karen” (i’m not even white or a regular complainer), this was unacceptable and absolutely unprofessional as an establishment. They need to re-question who they hire, because you will continue to lose valuable customers/guests if this continues. Do better.

So this location had the potential to be great, but I must say two things need to change. 1) the staff, ownership, someone, I don't know who, but they have a problem with people of color. The service is garbage and they really hold some bias or grudge that needs to stop asap. 2) if a patron comes in please treat them with respect if they aren't bothering anyone. This establishment needs to do a class in service and emotional intelligence. Needless to say I will not be visiting ever again and I will advise anyone I know from going until things change.

So flipping inconsistent- never open when they say they are - arrived at 230 on a Saturday- claimed to be open at 2 - pitch dark - doors open -wth ?

It was dead on a Saturday night, the bartenders were great. Atmosphere is nice. But I do think they should let people know there’s a 20% automatic gratuity on drinks. I was in the service industry for 6 years, so 20% is minimum for me. I just like to have the choice. Wasn’t super happy with my experience. Won’t be back for me but it seemed ok. Just very weird that it was so dead on a Saturday night maybe 7 other people tops.

What do you expect to get? Manage your expectations: named 'Local Tap' we expected local beers on tap. Yes we 'think' they had those BUT no list and link did not work. The beers were good but have no idea what local brew I had. Suggest they simply update list on link (seems like that is fairly easy) or, like other tap rooms, a simple chalkboard list posting current beers so guests can read and decide. Understand that beers rotate regularly and constantly but there are simple ways to help your guests. Food: this is not a food centered business so don't expect 5 star. Service: all at bar, decent but distracting for server. Mgr appeared but did little bit point to guests instead of helping team. Drinks: pricey overall but good.

Pretty place, though dark, but no names of beers anywhere. It's called "Local Tap". Any local beers? Listed as "lager" (they were out, really?) and "Pilsner", etc. Disappointing and high priced for generics.

We showed up just after 4 to watch the Florida State vs. Georgia bowl game. We asked to watch the game and turn up the sound so we could hear it. The guy behind the bar, only staff we saw blew us off and literally ignored us. TERRIBLE customer service!! He didnt offer us any service. Very neat atmosphere but will not return based on how rude the staff was.

the worst customer service i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. we called to make sure that their latin night event would allow for members of our party who are not yet 21 entrance. we were told this would be allowed on friday 12.8. when we showed up, this was not the case. we spoke to what im assuming was a “manager” there and he was absolutely terrible. he told me the only way he could help me was if i knew who i called and spoke to to which i replied that his poorly trained and misinformed employees did not provide me with a name.he also stated that any and all information that we would need in the future would be provided on their website which is completely inaccurate. their website is never (and i wholeheartedly mean NEVER) updated.do not go here. if you have any form of self respect, do not give these people any form of business. they will speak to you as if you’re incompetent and will not attempt to find a resolution or any form of explanation as to why their “policies” have suddenly changed.

We are new to the area. Found Local Tap and were happy as I wanted to listen to live music while my husband wanted to watch football. The music was good although a little loud. The bartenders were polite, and we ordered two drinks. Not long after we sat down, the music stopped. We still continued to enjoy our drinks and watch football. Then, the tv’s were cut off. We were confused as it wasn’t even 10 pm. Then, a security guard asked us to leave and shared that the establishment would reopen at 10:30pm. So, we just spent over $33 on two cocktails and a generous tip…now we are being kicked out? We left as told with our drinks, but we were extremely unhappy! Local Tap needs to adjust hours to reflect the temporary closing or post notices….or have your bartenders make patrons aware when they order a drink after 9 pm. We didn’t want to sit outside, so we tossed our drinks and left very disappointed.
