I have never ever had a bad experience with Steak 'n Shake me and my whole family absolutely love getting to eat here we don't get to eat it much because we live pretty far away from one but when we come across one we will definitely be eating there, we love the food love the shakes and just all around love everything about the restaurant. We will definitely be eating at Steak 'n Shake when we are around for sure, can't go wrong!
Kiosk-only ordering and barcode-locked drink dispensers made for an unwelcome return to Steak ‘n’ Shake (could my last visit really be pre-pandemic?). The food was still good, and the staff both helpful and friendly.

Everything is digital when it comes to ordering. They forgot a fry that I ordered. Didn't realize it until be got home which is a 35 minute drive. They're I've machine doesn't work and had a bucket of ice with a scoop. The ice was melted all the way down. You have to scan your receipt to get side out if the machine. It cuts off after a few seconds and you have to rescan your receipt and try again. The soda was DISGUSTING! They had no carbonation. So 4 drinks that I paid for was trashed bc they weren't drinkable. Very unsatisfied!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

Service was FAST and FRIENDLY, food was delicious. Was a bit concerned at first cause it's ALL kiosks that only take cards, but luckily Chasity stepped up and took care of us! Even the big boss came to see if we were enjoying our meal. All the customers seemed to get in and out fast. Food was hot and fresh and so glad we stopped in!

The drink machine was different, I’ve never seen anything like that before. (Kinda cool) will definitely be going back. Also the workers there were super polite. Yall must have an awesome manager to run the way you do!!
