First time here today. Very nice establishment, clean, fresh looking. Very impressed with staff and friendliness. Food was great, hot and fresh. There is a little bit of a wait but well worth it. Had the fried chicken and waffle, others had the smoked chicken. Everyone was happy with their food.Wheelchair accessibility: Must park in front of convenience store next door but short distance to restaurant. Bathrooms also handicap accessible

Ordering was a breeze, wait for the food wasn't bad and was extremely worth it. Had the chicken and waffles with peach cobbler and sweet tea. Some of the most tender chicken I have ever had. Waffles had a great pillowy crunch. Cobbler was fresh and very well spiced.I could drink the sweet tea by the gallon.Definitely recommend.

I am from out of state, and wanted to try a 5star place, and this is where it lead me— to the most delicious creamy mac n cheese, with juicy jumbo bbq wings that were to die for, plus the sweet potato casserole that had the perfect sweetness. And the best part- my Uber driver who drove over 20 mins away to deliver my food, asked me how I found this place, stating he lives near the place, and never knew it existed. After he delivered my meal, he said he was going straight back to Suthern Cluck for dinner bc the food smells amazing. I love finding new mom and pop shops when I’m in a new area, and this is definitely not a place to pass by!

Googled where to eat because I was in the area...and this came up. Friendly, clean and my lunch of chicken tenders, Mac n cheese and coleslaw was fantastic! Will definitely be back when in the area again. All the reviews are spot on!

My office is tired of the same old lunch spots in the area. I saw this opened a while back, and kind of dismissed chicken & waffles...not my cup of tea. But I stopped for gas at the station next door around lunch time, and figured I'd step in and grab a menu. I was REALLY surprised at how many items were on the menu. When I saw they had pulled pork, I figured I'd give it a try. Somehow, I ended up with the brisket sandwich instead, but I'm not complaining at all. It was amazingly good. I got the homemade sauce on the side, but the sandwich was so good without, I didn't even use it. And while waiting for the order, the owner brought me out her first try at parmesan garlic wings, to see what I thought. Really, really good. Chatted for a while, and she's good people, give them your business! I'd give 5 stars, but prices are on the high side for lunch. But then again, this isn't typical cheap fast food- everything is homemade, meats smoked by them and portions are generous. I gave my workers a taste, and they were impressed- immediately went there to get their lunches.

Since praise the lard closed we have been looking for our new spot.... the search is over. The brisket, the chicken... Cole slaw.. bread.... It was all so good. And the service was better than expected. You can tell the owner/chef really enjoys what she does and she does it so well. Will be back for sure!!

I had the fried fish with green beans. The fish was hot, fresh and cooked just right. The green beans were just down right delicious. Great quality and service. Came to order for the work staff around lunchtime today to go, and y’all be sleeping on this place. We got cheeseburgers and homemade fries and the chicken sandwich and it was the best $ spent. Everything was made fresh to order and not frozen. The staff was AWESOME, found out owners are from MS. Stop in and say hey, give them some love and get ya some fresh CLUCKIN FOOD! Stop going to fast food burger paying outrageous prices for frozen when y’all can get FRESH here for same cost. Y’all be sleeping on this place.Very clean inside and the music was amazing while waiting. Don’t let it fool you. 10 STARS!
Great new space! Our group got a variety of dishes which includes the chicken and waffles, oxtail and rice, bbq ribs and fried fish. Everything was great and we enjoyed all of the side dishes as well.

This place is amazing! We were first timers going to grab some dinner after a long day of work. This place hit the spot. My husband had the meat platter with Brisket, ribs, tenders, and pulled pork he was amazed how tender the meat was and so flavorful. The fried tenders and chicken were juicy and were so much better than your fast food chains. The Mac and Cheese is a must get, I am not sure the cheeses used but I need to find out. The home cut fries withe cluck dust are a must as well. My husband is still raving about his dinner plate and the waffle he had. We told my daughter about this place and she can't wait to try it when she is home for spring break. You can't go wrong with Suthern Cluck the food is great and the staff welcome you like family.

I came here with a couple friends on a quest for chicken and waffles. We were a little skeptical at first because it can be hard to get chicken and waffles right. Turns out it was the best damn chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the waffles were delicious. Family owned business, great customer service, amazing food. I don’t live in Buford but if I did I would definitely be back often

I was looking for a place to get chicken and waffles this morning and I’m glad I stumbled across this place! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the waffles were soft and delicious, and the serving size was perfect for breakfast. Not to mention all the staff was very friendly, and the food came quickly. Will be back to eat here soon!
