Went in to a caption d's near me and ordered my food went to pay and they couldn't make change , then proceeded to tell me well everybody always uses a card. It's been a few years I've been to a captain d's restaurant and may be another few years b4 I give another chance.

Shrimp was cooked so hard you couldn't hardly bite it. Baked potato was very good. Man at counter was a little gruff. Need customer service lessons.

this is my second review of this location, had a much better experience this time food wise. still not very seasoned but its probably just company policy, nothing to reflect on the actual people who work there. i came in abt a half hour before close and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the woman at the register even offered me extra dressings for my potato. looked nice and clean inside and everyone was friendly. i got the 3 piece catfish meal with broccoli and a baked potato. im super super full. much much better experience this time.

We used to go to Caption D's several times a month. We got bored with the same items and stopped several years ago. We're out of town tonight and gave it another try. My wife liked hers, my 15 pieces of shrimp, only tasted like deep fried batter, cole slaw was good, corn on the cob was awful. We'll give it a few more years.

We used to be Capt D's several times a month. We drifted away and haven't tried them for years. This we we did, and it will be years before we return. 15 pieces of "shrimp" taste like 15 pieces of over fried bread dough. Cole slaw was still good. Corn was one of the worst I ever tried.Goodbye and good luck.

I was very disappointed in the food we received today. I ordered the 3 piece classic fish dinner. The fish must have been sitting on the line for quite a while. It was barely warm! The breading was not crispy but tough. The baked potato was not warm enough to melt butter so I asked for another one. It was no warmer. I just gave up and ate it anyway! The slaw and hush puppies were ok. Sorry, but I probably won’t be eating there again!

Sorry to give a mostly negative review. Needs must. With the higher prices, now is a poor time to shrink the portion sizes. I took photos of the 2 piece catfish dinner. The fish is half the size of most fish filets. This is probably a deal breaker for us. Catfish is pretty easy to cook. At Home.
