The food was good but it was so smokey in the downstairs restaurant that our eyes were watering and we were coughing from the cooking smoke coming from the kitchen. Not a healthy environment or a pleasant dining experience.

Always enjoy the scene at Downtown Kitchen. Their staples stay on the menu for a reason, they are some of the best in the local area. Also take advice from the staff from time to time when seasonal items are on the menu, it will usually be a good choice. Please keep the brussel sprouts on the menu!

This is our second time celebrating a birthday here and we can say that our experiences her have been like no other. They had a birthday card signed by all of the employees there signed waiting for us. If that doesn’t speak millions I don’t know what does. Food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is like no other.

We had 4 adults and 3 out of 4 had good food, but I was the only one who ordered a steak and supposedly this is a steak place. My steak was extremely under cooked, I ordered it medium-well and it came out medium-rare. Not the reason for the bad review, it’s what happened next, they charred the same piece of meat that I’d already cut up and brought it back to the table burnt. For the prices they’re charging, they can afford to prepare you a new steak cooked properly. Extremely disappointed!!

We had a lovely meal here. We were greeted nicely when we came in. The restaurant is cozy. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered the buffalo chicken fritters, and hanger steak wontons to start and then the ribeye with a potato and Brussels sprouts. It was all delicious! We really enjoyed our meal and will definitely return!

Went to Downtown Kitchen for the first time a few weeks ago and were impressed. We met one of the owners (Allie?) and she was super nice and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The atmosphere and food were right on! Our favorite was the hanger steak, and we will be returning to try even more of their delicious food.
