I used to frequent this firehouse for quite some time as I worked off Riverstone Pkwy. Now that I live in the area, figured I'd pick up some for dinner/lunch here and there. Time and time again, though, the kids behind the counters butcher everything they send out. This has been a problem for me, my wife, my brother, and co-workers as well for roughly the past year. I won't go into conversations the kids discuss behind the counter, but every time it's always something that manages to distract them from making the sandwiches properly, and quite frankly some are not necessarily appropriate, especially when I have to remind my curious 3 year old that they aren't saying nice things. Definitely take a little extra time and go to the firehouse on Hwy 92.

Went to pick up an online order last night - in addition to the subs, my wife ordered a bottle of their BBQ sauce. Fortunately I looked in the bag as the bottle of sauce had not been included. I inquired and the person I assumed was the manager looked at the receipt and added the item. She called out the mistake the people preparing the orders but offered no apology.Food was ok but the buns were wet/soggy which detracted from my rating in that category.

Great food and clean environment. Food never takes long to receive and 90 percent of the time is correct. Can be a little pricey. Overall great destination for sub! ?
On September 4, 2023, we ordered a split combo medium sub with the Labor Day free medium sub. We specifically told the lady (Mary Janene on the receipt) we wanted wheat bread. When my name was called, I picked up the split combo and the carryout sub to the table. We immediately noticed meatball/tomato sauce on both halves where the sandwich was cut (it was a Hook and Ladder - not meatball), as well as noticed it was on white bread. We noticed the take home was white, too. I only took the two halves back and told the lady (Same as our cashier) that we ordered wheat. She said, "No you didn't; you ordered white." I said, "No, we ordered wheat." She said, "Fine! but you ordered white". I said, "No, I didn't," and she said, "Yes, you did!" and snatched down the two trays. I didn't even get to say anything about the meat sauce but all the other crew saw it.She called my name in an angry voice and just gave me a dirty look as I got the sandwiches. I didn't even say anything about the carryout sub being wrong too, but she knew it was. I have nearly 60,000 points because we eat there all the time and every time I order wheat. I also tipped the crew! The rudeness of this employee has really turned us against this store.

First off, I wanna praise them for having a clean restroom, I always appreciate a good clean toilet, because I have stomach issues, and I’m always concerned that bathrooms will be nasty. Second, it was good.

Over the past month I have visited Firehouse 2 times. The first time it was filthy. A whole bag of chips was crushed onto the floor. The staff was friendly so I gave them another chance. When I went in today the ice machine didn't work. No big deal because I assumed they had another source behind the counter. As I stood waiting the lady working the register calls back to someone to get me and another person waiting ice... I quote her.."because they are standing here just staring at me!" This was the last time I will be eating there.
