RIP to the greatest sandwich shop ever. If the original owners could somehow bring it back Cherokee county would be forever grateful. So sad the new owners flushed it down the drain so quickly. I’ll forever miss the Italian, onion rings and the best potato salad I’ve ever had. My last good memory there was on it’s birthday and the original owners served all of the customers cake. Greatest people ever. We miss you all.

I went weekly on Thursday’s, my day off for several year’s. Went once since the new owner. Food had definitely gone down in quality. Haven't been back in a long time. Today I wanted a Reuben sandwich. So thought I would give it another try, Place is closed and dark.Wish the original owners would return.

It hurts my heart to see what has become of this place since it has been sold. Pride in the product and service is what has become lost. I would eat there 30+ times a year, now I won't step foot in the place.Meats/cheese - went from premium Boars Head to generic lower quality purveyors brandSoda machine - Broken for over a yearStaff - While still friendly, the daily staff went from 6-7 ppl who usually remembered your name and order to 3 whom all seemed overworked

Remembering how much I loved R and M Hoagie shop, when I worked in Cherokee county, I took my daughter there for lunch today. The grille was down, the fountain drink station was down, and according to the server, the “tea machine” was down. The bottled drinks in the cooler were hot as well. I ordered the Italian sub, and it was ok at best. I don’t know what happened, but I hope they can recover. We were there from 12:00-12:30, and there were only two other customers there the whole time.

I went here all the time when the Delucas owned this place and was the best hoagie in north Georgia. Now the quality of the food has changed…tastes totally different(no flavor). They confirmed they buy cheaper meats than the previous owners did. The coke machines always broke. Fries machine broke down last time I went. The atmosphere is just not the same. Never going back unless new owners take over.

I love the sandwiches but I was appalled at how dirty the shop had become. We arrived at 11 and there weren’t other customers . We waited for a few minutes while they continued their preparation for opening. When we entered there was a stack of meat roll ups left on the counter and when we left 35 minutes later the meat was still there. None of the tables had been wiped down from the previous day. One table was stacked with trays, pans, tubs, and an assortment of “stuff”. Cobwebs in windows and just filthy everywhere. We took our sandwich and left to eat outside on the square.

Great little place for a quick homie sandwich. I had chicken salad today, but have had many others. The Italian is my favorite. They are #8 on the attached map of downtown Canton Georgia.

Sandwich was a little skimpy compared to Katz Deli NYC, BUT the price and atmosphere made up for it, great staff and I enjoyed myself, will return

Must agree with the negative reviews-first time there about 4 years ago it was awesome! But now, Ive gone twice this year and both times my sandwich was wrong (ham and cheese should be pretty simple to get correct). The last one was a to go order and they literally popped it in a bag without any wrapping, needless to say when I got home it was a fallen apart mess. I will have to find a new place for subs now.

I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars! Not only are the subs TO DIE FOR, the customer service is just lovely!! Everyone is so sweet, it made my whole day. And the shop is so cute! I moved here from New England and have been seriously missing real deli subs... And boy, did R&M’s deliver! Super fast, super friendly, super delicious! I could not be more thrilled!

I’m not sure what happened to the meat that used to be served here before the DeLuca’s sold the place, but obviously the new owners don’t care to serve quality sandwiches. This place is a dumpster fire at best now, unfortunately. It used to be everyone’s favorite sandwich spot and the new owners are clearly just trying to make a buck. It’s so sad to see my favorite childhood memory be ruined by careless owners

Great casual spot for sandwiches in downtown Canton. I'd met a business associate here for lunch. Our sandwiches were delayed initially because they'd put both on the wrong bread but let us know and gave us the opportunity to have it corrected, which they then did. My turkey rueben was very good and while a typical solid side to this is coleslaw theirs tasted like it was left uncovered in a refrigerator overnight and it had almost a freezer burn type of taste. Whether that was the case I don't know but it was enough to knock 1-star off the rating. The service was solid and came with a smile. I'd go back, but maybe opt for a different side.

Been a long time since I've been back. When ownership first changed, they seemed to have lost their way. Today, they are back! Donna was AMAZING!!
