We love Big Bear. It is a reasonably priced restaurant with lots of options. The service is mostly self serve but there is always someone there to help or get you a refill. Clean facility. The decor is pretty interesting but it makes big bear unique
Have to say we have lived in Temple for almost 5 years, and I happened to stubble upon this hidden gem on carrollton Facebook group. We were very happy with the service and the food. Went in on a Friday night and got there a little after 5 . They were busy even on a rainy evening. Per what was commented about, wait staff not bringing refills for the drinks we were provided refills with having to ask.
