Food was pretty good , server was friendly and tipped accordingly, margaritas were sweet like lime koolaid with about the same potency , ambience and appearance left a lot to be desired ,run down tattered and torn seating areastrashy parking lot should have been a clue for me . Pricing was higher than I expected as well .

This place has been in Carrollton forever, but I have actually never eat near. We stopped by the one off of highway 27 because I wanted to try them out before the one in Bremen opened up. I was very pleasantly surprised they have an extensive menu sure to please any picky eater. My food was very flavorful and piping hot. I will definitely be back!

Food was terrible. I'm not sure why it's so popular out here. Maybe they just don't know any better. I've been to other monterreys and this was trash. The chips were old, dark and had a terrible after taste. I asked for fresh ones so we could actually eat our cheese dip and he just grabbed more from the bin. Waste of a $7 cheese dip!! They literally have 3 TUBS of chips just sitting there and put some into the warmer. Complete waste of $40.

I ordered the Birra Tacos and Mexican Street Corn. The Tacos were bland and flavorless. The corn was decent with of putting smell. I paid about 35 dollars and for the price the corn wasn't worth it. The Birria dip has no flavor. As a whole I won't order this again but I've had their food in the past. Regular tacos are fine. Maybe next time.

Pretty dive-y looking location - I think the place has been here for 40 years - but the food, drinks and service are GREAT!These were maybe the best birria beef tacos I’ve ever eaten, we got five big enchiladas with our enchilada meal and my mezcalita was perfect - and adorable - it came in the coolest glass with a tamarind candy as a tasty garnish.Loved the Halloween decorations -we were just in town for one night, but this looks like a fun place to hang out.
Best Mexican restaurant around, hands down. The only place I'll go to. Beware, though, the salsa can be spicy!
