“Plant Wasted is a true dining gem amongst Carrollton's restaurant scene. Employees are super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. As someone who is both casually food conscious yet intentional about health due to physical illness, the staff works to accommodate specific dietary needs, questions, and concerns. A customer's first thoughts about the establishment might be overshadowed by the steeper prices; however, Plant Wasted does not skimp on either quantity or quality. And--the food is incredible! Plant Wasted is purposeful with their ingredients and supports local vendors which I love! Everything is so fresh, and menu items like wellness bowls and sandwiches/toast are made to order (which can entail longer wait times but is well worth it!) Despite not being marketed as a cafe, I believe Plant Wasted might just have the best coffee in the area. Juices are fresh pressed and packed with flavor, nutrition, and whole foods. Some of my personal favorites include the Born for Leavin' Sandwich, which is spread with a decadent, garlicy hummus, the scrapyard spring rolls, and the Vibin' w/ Michelle smoothie bowl topped with their rich hazelnut spread! The dining area inside is on the smaller scale fashioned with two high tops and bar seating facing a window. The atmopshere is casual and relaxed which suits Plant Wasted's tropical getaway theme. They have an uncovered outdoor patio with chairs and tables to enjoy when weather permits. Love this place!“
“Gallery Row is the place suitable for so many purposes: studying, relaxing, hanging out with friends, reading, etc. Their menu is extensive and extrinsic- lots of great options for coffee and tea lovers alike! Their coffee is distinctive and shouldn't be compared to an establishment like Starbucks. Gallery Row also serves ice cream which is decadent! But, I do not recommend their pastries, they are often stale no matter when I have purchased them. Staff are nice and greet you upon entering!“
“Love this place so much!! Their smoothies are great and they have so many choices! I can basically make any smoothie I want! The staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their face when I walk in! Very delicious smoothies, not watery like tropical smoothie cafe! Will be back !!“

“Smoothie King and Tropical Joe's comes down to personal preference, recipes and ingredients. I like that the options here are consistent and have simple alternatives. TJ's is hard to decipher between products sometimes. SK also has the convenience of the drive-thru and natural sweeteners are a huge plus. I would give SK the edge and recommend "peanut power plus."“
