My biggest issue with Sam’s House is how inconsistent the quality is visit to visit. I’ll start by saying I have never had bad meat, but for a BBQ joint the sides are just as important. Mac n cheese was dry which was super disappointing, fries were basically frozen checkers fries. (in the past the fries were hand cut and very good) Ribs were very good, pork was very good and the sausage is great as well. I do recommend visiting Sam’s on the off chance you get them on a good day and the food is on point.Everyone working in the restaurant is very friendly, I just wish the food was consistent.

The price was high considering the quality of food I received. The meat was ok taste and flavor wise but had a lot of tough unchewable pieces which was in the pork plate, pork sandwich and in the hickory fries when paired with the driest Mac and cheese in town its just not something I enjoyed enough for a second

From reading the other reviews I feel like I’m in the twilight zone. We should have walked out as soon as we walked in. The only good thing about it was the 2 kids working here.They were having to tell people you were out of everything and then forced to charge an excessive amount of money for at best subpar food. It’s a holiday weekend and football Saturday and you don’t have half your menu or soft drinks. Do better.

I placed an order on Doordash, they were getting walk ins and refused to make our order. After an hour of waiting by the delivery person, they still hadn't made our order. I canceled it and will never go there again.

Ok this place is by far one of my favs. It’s like a ole back in the day jut joint environment shall I say. I mean the meat is grilled and slow cooked. My Goodness and the food is ….oh my Goodness… just try it for yourselfVegetarian options: Collard, beans, potato salad, etc…Kid-friendliness: I’m sure it’s kids stuff on the menu I just don’t have a need to look at it because I don’t have kids.
Went there and immediately got greeted. He was busy but still let us know that we were important. He also gave us some complimentary sausage and we amazing! I ordered the nachos that did not disappoint. The Mac and cheese was so good too! Over all a great place to eat❤️Kid-friendliness: Enough seating for the kids

We came here on the fourth of July and there was only one person working with lots of customers. This guy was awesome. He maintained conversation with us and was apologetic about our wait. When it came time for us to order, he gave us complimentary smoked sausage which was delicious. Also, the ribs and barbecue sauce was the best we've ever had at any other barbecue spot. We look forward to our next visit.

The food is always great! The owner is often working with limited staff,but he has the best attitude and works hard to get your food to you quickly.
Food was delicious. Wish I had a bigger stomach so I don’t have to waste any of it. Love that it’s open on Tuesdays. Recommend the hickory fries (photo included)

Great customer service is hard to find these days, but this place certainly has it! This is a man with a passion for his profession. Best Mac n cheese I have had!! Also highly recommend the pork, slaw and hickory fries. Definitely worth a visit to get you hooked!
