This review was written by Nicholas Gogle, an employee, and will be detailing the owner's business practices and attitude surrounding food safety and employee management, which should be made public considering the carelessness of his actions. Please continue reading to know important information regarding our products.I have worked for the owners, Vicki and Michael McCorsley, for a number of years, have serviced many regular customers with positive reviews. This is not a review of the food and service here, which is well respected by our customers. But customers deserve to know when an owner is making decisions carelessly and with negligence.I will start with how he demands we serve food that is spoiled, soaked, and at times unsafe for human consumption. When customers ask us for fresher ingredients we are told by our owner that we must still serve the unsafe ingredients. To save money. When a bacon sandwich was dropped on the ground, our owner picked it up and demanded we serve it again. I refused and demanded he explain his decision and he openly lied on an employee claiming they said it was safe to serve. The employee was very hurt that she was blamed for this, she has served his customers for more years than I have and was not happy to be taking the blame. When we warn him of the moldy tomatoes he demands for us to cut around the mold and continue serving the tomatoes. When the lettuce is soggy and ripe for bacteria growth he demands we hold onto it and serve it, specifically for the mobile orders so that they don't have a chance to review the sandwiches quality. They've already paid and this is what Michael McCorsley wants. When checks are due to be delivered to the restaurant he has repeatedly exhibited a careless attitude, delivering our checks too late to deposit into banks and forcing employees to go without their money for another day. Some employees are living check to check, mother's who use their entire checks to provide for their children. On October 5th 2023, Michael McCorsley was too busy installing a pool cover to deliver checks on time. Several employees didn't get paid that day, with bills now gathering late fees because the owner was too busy worrying about his pool.I talked with Michael McCorsley today about his decision making and practices and he refused to take responsibility. His excuses were many, but I will sum up his words: "I don't make enough money from this place." "Checks don't have to be here on Thursday they could be here on Friday" "I don't like to call my bank to ensure they give me the checks, I like to wait and let them call me"An owner's responsibility with his restaurant is to provide a workplace environment that can serve and satisfy his customers. If he isn't making enough money off the restaurant, that is not a reason to punish your employees. Our employees have multiple 5 star reviews and are well respected by our community. If checks don't have to be here on Thursday then move the check day to Friday. He refuses to do so and thus our finances suffer as a result. If an employee receives a bad review he does everything in his power to punish the employee but refuses to hold his bank accountable for the multiple times they've forgotten to call him about his checks being ready. If we forget an apron he cuts our hours til some employees are forced to quit, but when his bank forgets to give him his employee's checks he gives them a break and all the allowances he can.Negligence, carelessness, disrespectful handling of an employee's finances. These are but a few reasons I am begging for anyone to talk to him. He refuses to listen to his employee's concerns and has shown a complete disregard for the safety and service of his employees. When the Air Conditioning broke in the restaurant he told us to deal with it for 2 weeks during the hottest month recorded in Georgia. Even going so far as to mock us for complaining about his inaction to repair it. Michael McCorsley needs to be talked
Good food but air conditioning was not working correctly so it was uncomfortable.

Staff here seemed very rude. An older lady made my food and she was extremely rude and impatient with me, especially when she found out I had multiple sandwiches (only 4, so not even that many). I asked for 2 Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwiches and she starts to make Teriyaki Chicken subs. When I tell her they were suppose to be CBR, she gets annoyed and irritated with me. But she messed it up, why is she getting upset with me? And I wasn’t rude about it. All I said was “oh, those are suppose to be chicken bacon ranch.”When I got back to the hospital (as my mom was in the hospital and I only went to Subway cause it was close by and everyone wanted it) everyone had complained about their chicken being cold, even though it was toasted. If it’s toasted, why is it still cold?I’m genuinely shocked their rating is as high as it is. That’s also why I picked this subway since I had hope for it being friendly, especially after the previous 24 hours I had before coming here. While i won’t say I won’t be returning ever, I definitely won’t be in there if I see that lady. I may not remember her name (it might be Susan) I definitely remember what she looks like, so if I see her I will be going somewhere else.

My daughter and I grabbed a late dinner at this subway earlier tonight and was greeted with the most lovely customer service! Both sandwich preparers were awesome however my daughter's was an angel in disguise. She was patient and had such a beautiful spirit! Even offered to make another sandwich after lettuce was reuested after toasting. My daughter was feeling kinda blah and she must've sensed it bc she offered a hug. We will make the trip again across Carrollton for this subway to experience A1 service and her cosmic energy!
