We stopped in there tonight only to be informed that they are no longer a restaurant, but an event venue. My wife was really looking forward to a steak that we had there 3 years ago when we lived here the first time. Imagine the disappointment when we found that nothing changed on the outside but all had changed on the inside. I wonder how often other people have ran into this. Please change your information on here and on the outside of your building.

Johnny and Jill Mitchell are true pillars of this community! Their food is ALWAYS delicious and they have true servant's hearts! As the house manager at Hickory Log Personal Care Home, I have contracted them for catering services at special events and have had to call on them for a couple of "last minute" meal emergencies.... They always come through for us!!! Hickory Log residents love their food and their bright smiling faces :)
Johnny and Jill hosted my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and the entire event from the moment I contacted them was flawless. The food, the service and the hospitality exceeded my expectations. They truly made this wonderful milestone very memorable. I highly recommend Johnny Mitchell's Smokehouse for any occasion, catering or family dinner.
