I gotten the shrimp fajita quesadilla and it was really good. And my husband got the steak fajitas which he liked we also liked the chips and salsa it had a very strong flavor of cilantro and it was made fresh. The Mexican rice and the refried beans wasn’t that good. They also offer a buffet which is tacos. Not pricey at all. Very clean and service was great.

Not sure if the positive reviews here are real/true but I will go ahead and give you the truth about my experience.Place is always empty. Not sure how they stay open. First thing you notice driving by all the time. They will need to do better than putting a flag up on the building. Possibility business owners are first time business owners but like I said will need to do way BETTER!! OR GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!When you go inside it is clean and has that certain look but I cant put my hand on what it is (Not really texas style in a way). The bar is too small and empty (diddnt feel welcoming either. This is really bad as this is one of the most important parts of a restaurant business!!) When you go to the bathroom or really anywhere in the restaurant the lights are completely turned off (very dark), I believe this is what they do to save money as customers dont really come in to spend money. **Penny pinchers**The food was HORRIBLE!!!! My biscuits look like they just bought them at the store and put them in the microwave. Chicken I had was ok but still looked like thawed fast food. And they charge alot for the food when the quality isnt there (hahahahahahahahahaha get a new cook or ways of preparing food)The customer service was ok. Waiter/hostess needs to do better to serve clients. Standing at the front all the time doesn't help the customer in any way.In general, people say that the location the restaurant is in is just a bad spot. Always has been for 20 years. Probably time to tear the place down and put a better business there.More than likely this place will not survive if they dont get people at the door. Business owners are first time business owners so this will be a good learning lesson for them that owning a business is not easy and its not for everybody (You actually have to put in work! Like I said don't just stand at the door all day. DO SOMETHING!!). Covid will also be another factor that will put this place out of business.I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. PLEASE BE WARNED BEFORE GOING TO EAT THERE. IF YOU DO EAT THERE DON'T HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS

Service was just ok, there was nobody in the establishment and was not busy, server/bartender was not very hospitable....nor friendly. Ruben sandwich was good, but strange to have that on a Tex-Mex menu. I go again just for the cold beer ?.

The Mexican street corn was delicious, as qere the Texas Twinkies. The steak and shrimp dinner was excellent. I look forward to going back.

i really wanted to like this place since i am from texas and from the mexican border. the service was great. jason was excellent. the decor was great. i ordered steak fajitas. i got 4 little thin pieces of meat that really were bland. sitting on about a pound of onions and peppers. i dont know about you but when i order fajitas i want fajitas. they really went to town on the veggies. the salsa tasted like it came from a jar at the store. like pace picante or something. my son got the chicken quesdailla and my daughter got the kids chicken tenders. they both seemed ok with their food. i guess i just expected better especially for the kinda high prices. we were on our way to another restaurant when i saw this place with the texas flag waving and i guess i got too excited cuz i pulled right in without even looking at the menu or any reviews. my wife was excited to hear about this place since it was so "texasy" but i told her we would probably not be going back as we can get much cheaper and better fajitas and tex mex food elsewhere.

Had a cheese steak. It was ok but no reason to return. Fries were little pieces and battered so very crispy

Yuck, try your own food guys.....Appetizer: Texas twinkiesEntrees: saddle burger and Texas tacosTexas twinkles were undercooked. Bacon wasn't crisp and the jalapeños were very raw. Not enjoyable imo.Burger was extremely over seasoned and a chore to choke down. Very very salty and I believe they mix the meat with seasoning inside it, gross. It should only be seasoned on the outside.Fries were the best part of my meal.Tacos were bland, shells were decent and lettice and cheese were fresh. Meat tasted like taco helper from the store. Salsa tasted sour.I won't be back here unless they improve.

After seeing all the positive reviews we decided to eat here. We were very disappointed. We were the only customers in there and the lady that waited on us was nice but didn't check on us very often. It made me think I was in Europe were the wait staff tries to not be intrusive. The food was mediocre. My husband had the fajitas and said the shrimp tasted like they were quick thawed then cooked. By the time we got home he was running to the bathroom. This is not a restaurant we will be going back to.

Went today for lunch - was very confused as soon as we saw the menu! I thought the place was a BBQ restaurant but everything on the menu was Mexican. No big deal, we proceeded to order some cheese dip (came with fried flour chips), Mexican corn (cobbettes, not full cobs), chicken Cantina nachos, Texas fajitas, and the kids Mac n cheese. Aside from the corn and cheese dip, the food was extremely bland. The nachos came with more lettuce than chips and resembled a salad and the fajitas were lukewarm. We told our server that everything was bland and she just laughed. The menu also said that a soft drink was $2.50 but when the check came, it was $2.75. I brought that up and was told, “We changed the price 5 months ago but I’ll fix it for you. Don’t tell anybody.” We won’t be coming back.
