I hadn't been to a Shoney's in over twenty years so when my husband suggested it, I was game to try it again. I was sure we could each find something on the menu. When we came in the waitress surprised us by telling us there was an AYCE seafood buffet along with the salad bar. At 14.99, it was a deal we couldn't pass up.We each liked some of the same things, but also differed in our opinions of others. But we each found plenty to enjoy. My favorites were the catfish, steamed shrimp, and the fried chicken. He liked the broiled fish, soup and coleslaw the best. Our waitress Emmie was super sweet and provided great service, even giving us to go drinks without us even asking for them. I had to get a piece of their famous strawberry pie to take home for dessert, too. Some morning when we get up early enough we'll go back to try the breakfast buffet.

Never been to Shoney's. This was a wonderful, new experience! Staff was kind, food was surprisingly good, and the atmosphere was right at home. If i lived closer, this would be a once a month breakfast treat. Might even travel an hour just to have this experience again. Thank you.

What can I say about Shoney's it's a "Special" place. Great value for your money. Great service from the staff. The buffet presentation was clean looking and nice variety of food to choose from.

If you don't mind the wait for service the food is actually pretty good. Unfortunately you can tell the owner/managers don't care about their employees. All the servers were running around trying to keep up with customers but they were dreadfully understaffed and frantic. Super nice servers just wish the management stepped up from behind the counter to help them.

Awesome breakfast buffet! Lots to choose from, even salad, fruits, and chicken! Eggs were nice and fluffy, not hard and rubbery like most. Hospitality high on the scale. Highly recommendable.

Went for buffet breakfast. Went on a Saturday. They struggled with keeping product in heating wells. Eggs and bacon were hard to come by. I got half way through my plate before I got my coffee or water. Never received refills.BUT, what I did have was awesome. I will try during week

Overall, it was great. Haven't been here in 20+years. Service was great, food was okay. I'd go back if ever in the area again. ?

We always have a great time at Shoney's. We always get the buffet. The wait staff is friendly and even gave us some suggestions on some family friendly activities to do in the area, since we are from out of town.

The food was excellent. Stopped here during a trip home. The staff did a great job keeping everything full and fresh. Best breakfast buffet I've had in years. Thank You Shoney's!

Food was good, good service good manners. The only thing I didn't like was the way the silverware was in a little bag instead of raped in a napkin

We had excellent service while eating here. The food was better than we expected judging by the empty parking lot. The facility itself could use updating. We would definitely come back.

The women's toilet is very wobbly and needs to be tightened to the floor.Bathrooms need to be cleaned.Good service. Needs more fruits.Bananas, fresh pineapple, mangos, green and red seedless grapes.Otherwise service was good and buffet was delicious. Would love a Shoneys in Illinois!Have a great day!

Great service, the waitstaff was excellent and friendly, the food items at the bar remained fresh, they provided gloves and sanitizer, and the tables were clean. No complaints! Best Shoney's I've been to in a long time. I hope they bring back the one at Sugarloaf Mills Mall in Duluth, that used to be my favorite too!

We go for the breakfast buffet, and they have pretty good selection (chicken tenders, French bread, pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash-browns, biscuits, bacon, and fruit). Now on one day the food was delicious but then we went a week later and the same food was no flavor (I guess it depends ehos cooking that day lol). It's about $11 with water only when we have gone. Most of the time it's not crowded but it's been crowded the last time we went around 9am-10am.Vegetarian options: Salad barParking: Lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in.
