Very rude servers from the start. When we were seating they were already trying to making us order without even giving us the menu. We asked for the menu at least 5 times and they didn't bring it. We asked the server if it was all you can eat dim sum she said YES and when we were paying the cashier told us that it was NOT all you can eat and the check that it was supposed to be 80 turned to 120.

Awesome dim sum! Very quick service too and they kept bringing more food around every few minutes. Impossible to eat everything in one sitting. Must return to try more of the deliciousness

One of my top 2 places to go to for dim sum when i drive down from nashville. Actually may have moved into the #1 spot. Just because they serve dim sum ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. I know it's traditionally more of a breakfast, brunch item. But sometimes i crave it at 7pm. Service is what you expect from a dim sum place. It's not great or bad. Usually always get water right away and hot tea if you request it. Order your food and they leave you alone until you need something. They all work together , so just ask anyone if you need something extra. It is cleaner than most other dim sum around the area. During brunch it's packed pretty tightly with all the carts rolling around. Dinner is more spaced out and less people for sure. Top items that i order: Shrimp shumai Shrimp dumpling Scallop and shrimp dumpling Spicy chicken feet Spicy pork rib Beef tripe LOTUS LEAF STICKY RICE (absolutely must try if you haven't!) Chinese broccoli Everything taste fresh! And full of flavor! Does not taste like rubber like some other restaurants.... if they had better service , it would be a 5 star review for sure! Give them a try!

Canton House has been my go to dim sum ( and more) place for the last 20 years or so. What I didn't know is how the weekend menu has been expanded to include many new dim sum. Every one we have tried so far has been delicious. And now it's really hard to choose since we love the regulars, but the new ones are so tempting.

Wonton soup was great without being too salty. The wontons in it were fresh and tasty. The egg roll was meh. The shrimp curry was okay-would not order again. It tasted like it was made the way I make it by using curry cubes versus making it fresh and with a homemade sauce. The dim sum was good, but not all items were hot, which is key to good food. The service was fine during a very busy Sunday lunch. It was a fun time and glad we tried it, as had not had the opportunity to have true dim sum for a few years. Hot tea was hot and soothing.

For dinner on Tuesday, we tasted preserved fried rice, garlic bean sprouts, shredded pork fried noodles, and salted fish, chicken and tofu stew at Canton House Chinese Restaurant. Everyone was very satisfied.

If you have an opportunity to go to the Canton House for a Lunar New Year Banquet...go! Especially if you love seafood! You need to pace yourself to enjoy all 9+ courses! Plan your own event too. They have been in business over 22 years and know how to cook for huge parties. Tables seat 10 people, so you can have huge parties also. We have been to several events at CH and I am always amazed and happily very full afterwards!!! It is a treat for your tastebuds. Dim Sum is offered too. Get there before 11 am on the weekends or expect to wait.

Ok, Dim Sum review #3. I hate here Wednesday with co-workers and again tonight with my Chinese girlfriend. This place is a close 2nd to Happy Valley, and far superior to Royal China. The biggest difference is the # of menu items and the eggs tarts are just average. But I would definitely recommend!

Really excellent Chinese restaurant on Buford Highway, Dishes I've had include Mongolian Beef, Hot & Sour Soup, Sizzling Chicken Hot Pot. All are delish!!! They also have a dim sum menu, but I haven't tried yet. BTW...be sure to order the Jasmine tea. Very floral!!
