K Bop caught my interest when searching for a quick Asian spot to grab dinner with outdoor seating. The restaurant was quiet when we entered but it was simple, quaint and casual. We ordered at the counter before waiting at a table inside (it got too dark and cold outside). We ordered the Rose Tteokbokki and the K Dup Bop with spicy mixed seafood. They were served in to-go containers with plastic silverware. Both were pretty tasty and hit the spot - I was surprised they had Rose Tteokbokki on their menu but loved it - the creamy spicy sauce was perfect with the chewy rice cakes. The K Dup Bop was pretty hearty - filled with the greens, saucy seafood mix and topped with a perfectly fried egg. I don't think either dish is something I would normally crave but both hit the spot. I would summarize and describe K Bop as a fast casual Korean restaurant but it doesn't make the food taste any less authentic at all. They didn't have an instagram account at the time of my visit but looks like they started one since then @kbop_korean_kitchen. It doesn't appear active, it was just a single photo dump, but thankfully the restaurant is still active. Even so, I definitely recommend if you're looking for some quick and easy Korean food on this side of Chamblee.

Food: Mediocre Korean food. We tried multiple things from the chicken wings to their ramen. The flavors were off. On the bright side, portion sizes are hugeAmbiance: Love the seating arrangement! It's open and spacious with high ceilings and a patio. Service: Quick and efficientParking: Lots in front of Walmart.

I've been to this place three or four times, and I'll say it's perfectly adequate and the prices are good. Today, I had Ramen with Dumplings, mild. I'll say that it didn't compare well to a good ramen place - pretty sparse in terms of anything but noodles, dumplings, a small amount of onion, and a sliver of carrot. I've had the Bi Bim Bop before, and it was also fine, though also very heavy on starch (in this case, rice - which is consistent with the dish, and again fine), and not a great comparison with some of the more authentic places on Buford Highway. This is a perfectly fine place to eat. It's just not remotely special in any way, other than maybe the price. If you're nearby, by all means, feel free to eat here. Just don't go out of your way.

Came here a few times and always good bowls, dumplings here are very good. Kinda pricey but i normally have leftovers so it works out.

Food was excellent and food prep was quick. 2 things that didn't allow me to give 5 stars. Extra dressings & dressing for entrees weren't right. The other error has to do with the Yelp app. The delivery time on the app showed inconsistent times. By the time I got there my food was cold.All-in-all though K Bopnis almost 40 minutes away, it's definitely worth the drive!!!

Look, I usually don't leave reviews unless it's a 1 star or 5 star... not worth my time for mediocre places. Let me tell you, this place is PHENOMENAL!! I tried 3 different main dishes and some sides and everything was spot on!!!! The recipes, seasoning, preparation ... everything was superb! If you like Korean food, this is a really cool place with a great, clean atmosphere, fast service and really, really good food. I'll probably be coming back here once a week at least now that I know it's here. Just go!!

I was in atl for work and craving Korean food and ordered from this place on doordash. I was SHOCKED to find it to be even better than my favorite Korean spot in chicago (where I'm from). Seriously some of the best Korean eats I've had outside of Asia. I got the bibimbop and japchae. So good! I go to atl for work often and plan to come back here!

This place is so good I ate here twice this week so far! Very fast, fresh food. I highly recommend it for a quick delicious bite to eat. Very clean restaurant. Order at the counter. And the lady behind the counter is very nice.

The place outside and inside is very clean, bright, spacious. Menu offers variety of dishes and drinks. I ordered beef kbowl and taro boba tea. Unfortunately they did not meet my expectations. The kbowl was average. I have far better and amazing kbowls elsewhere. Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth has amazing spots for kbowl. Taro boba tea was very powdery; I have had so many boba teas and this is probably the worst I've had. It shouldn't be powdery and the boba on the bottom is nothing I've seen before. Supposed to be black balls. I got broken chunks. Looked strange. If you want amazing, authentic boba tea, go to Kung Fu Tea nearby (there are many authentic spots) and taste the big difference. Sorry, I won't be coming back.

I've only ordered delivery from K Bop so this review is strictly for food delivered. Overall, it's a good option if you want Korean food but don't want to or can't get to a regular restaurant. Bulgogi Bibimbop - this meat is pretty good quality even though this is a quick serve restaurant. It isn't too sweet which tends to be the case in many of the quick serve places. I usually order it with spicy mayo on the side and extra sweet corn which is available at no extra charge. But if you are very hungry, I recommend ordering a side like the pancake or fried dumplings. Ramen - I've ordered this with the extra seafood. Wouldn't really recommend it as the seafood used was the frozen chopped mixed seafood that you can buy in the frozen case at an Asian grocery store. Seafood tofu soup - the broth is definitely not as rich in flavor as what you get in the traditional Korean restaurant but they do include a good size shrimp with the shell and head on, oysters and squid so it's definitely better than the ramen with seafood added.

Agree, a true hidden gem - seriously my favorite bibimbop in Atlanta, and oddly in the same strip mall as Walmart. Honestly if given a choice between regular bibimbop and dolsot bibimbop, I get the latter b/c who doesn't love sizzling bibimbop in a stone bowl. But K-Bop's bibimbop is so good, I don't miss it at all. The ingredients are always fresh and crunchy. I always get the "Beef Bibimbop" ($14.99), which has bulgogi. So yummy & satisfying - and I have to say their spicy sauce is THE BEST!! FYI I think they usu. do their fried eggs a little on the raw side and I like mine a little more cooked - so you may want to request that. I've also tried their fried Beef Mandu ($8), also very good. I do want to try their Seafood Pancakes sometime. They serve all kind of bibimbop, soon dubu jigae, and ramen. The owners are super nice & sweet. The space is very cute, and they have an outside patio too. Next time you have a Bibimbop craving - go to K-Bop!

Awesome fast casual Korean spot in Chamblee and will definitely be back soon! You order at the counter (remember to bring cash) and it takes about 15 minutes for the food to come out. We had wings, katsu, and a noodle bowl to share and all of them were amazing! I can't even pick a favorite because everything was so good! Portions were also massive which meant lots to take home for another meal. I would be interested in coming back and trying other items on the menu, especially the drinks, but overall K Bop is a hidden gem that deserves the great ratings that it has!

Needing a place to find rose tteokbokki, I landed upon K Bop. My go to was Harue but since they were closed because of a problem in the kitchen this was my next logical place to get it. Inside there was plenty of seating, but I would see it as a take out spot specifically for dinner. The menu is pretty simplistic, but I would say this place definitely has items on the list that not a normal place would have such as bibim bop and tofu soup. Definitely a mom and pop restaurant, and very homely. The rose tteokbokki was pretty good, but I would say that it's a different flavor than what you would get at harue. Included in the $11 meal (which I think is a pretty great price) is your rice cake, and some fish cakes. I ordered two of the same and for sure one is enough to feed a person for a meal. It was packed and flavorful. If you live around here, I would recommend to try this spot if you want some good Korean food. It's casual and you don't have crazy lines. You could go to Buford but if this place is closer give it a try!

We had a to-go order of the rose tteokbokki. Compared to other places, the price was cheaper for the portion size. The sauce was creamy and had a strong taste of celery (as there were pieces of celery in the dish, which I did not expect). Small detail, but the rice cakes were also thinner than other locations. Not bad overall.
