My favorite place to sit and enjoy coffee! The atmosphere is great, service is fantastic, and the food and coffee are delicious. I love that the coffee syrups are homemade, and that the food is dye-free. Highly recommend!!

I have had sweet southern cafe make the cakes for 2 wedding in the family. They were fantastic. Amanda personally came and cut and served my guests. She’s an angel! I also have frequented her shop. I’m always here the the banana pudding ❤️ 10/10 recommend

First off, I've been here several times and her coffee is the best. I no longer go to Dunkin. I am a hooked Sweet Southern Cafe girl. Secondly, her Brownies, and Macarons are phenomenal!! Lastly, my daughter wanted a very SPECIFIC cake for her birthday and amanda went above and beyond for my daughter's wants for her 7th birthday party. She almost cried happy tears when she seen it out of the box. She was so happy with it! Not to mention, it not only looked amazing it tasted amazing too!! You will not be disappointed. Run to SSC for all your sweet needs! ? I would give 100 stars if I could! ?

I love Amanda's creations so much I even asked her to make my wedding cake! All of her stuff is hand made and you can taste it. My best friend is a macaroon fiend and absolutely loves the ones Amanda makes!

I’ve been here several times to try Amanda’s different treats. Every single one has been a win not only for me, but for everyone I share them with. I love trying the different macaroons, and knowing she doesn’t use food dye makes it that much better. Plus, she can make lots of different coffee drinks, and they’re always delicious. Love this place and the emphasis she puts on local artists and foods.

This shop has such good coffee that it has become my regular place. The coffee is local and brewed fresh. The bakery items are made in house with fresh, natural ingredients. The cheesecake is fantastic. All the items for sale are local artists. Pleasant atmosphere and good service whether you are snacking. Shopping, or just browsing.

Great lil coffee shop and the selection of sweets is outstanding. Ordered three different cakes for my kids birthdays and graduation. They were so good, the service was excellent and loved the various local items that were available for sell. Definitely a place to check out and it is a Veteran owned business. The owner Amanda is amazing and does a lot in the community.

I wanted to like this place and looked forward to visiting. Yet, the teenager working behind the counter is the only thing that works about this place. She was super friendly and pleasant. I also like that they keep things local. That's really thoughtful. The coffee was sub par, about on level with Race Track and expensive. The atmosphere is uncomfortable and it feels like a gift shop with a Keurig station (meaning coffee as an after thought). The owner was bristly and not especially friendly and not at all welcoming. One thing I prefer about these smaller shops is the friendliness. Additionally, I was disappointed that there was no restroom for customers with a changing table.Yet, the aspect which I found rather distasteful and which set a bad tone was the need to purchase a cup of water as someone actually purchasing a product there. At the present, a weirdly inhospitable place. Except for the nice kid. Maybe it was a bad day? May try it again if I see reviews improve steadily and change this review. I hope to see progress.Update: Incredibly hostile and unprofessional response from the owner, which further validates my impression of a hostile climate. Not providing water is just in bad taste and poor hospitality. I specifically asked for a cup of water, which would be of little cost to the owner--especially since I was a paying customer. I also tried more than once to speak with her cordially and each time she was terse (an unfriendliness evident to all in every post offering justified criticism).Furthermore, my friend ordered food and I am perfectly capable of asking for her opinion. She found it fine, but unreasonably priced. Would not order again. My review was thoughtful and polite (offering positives and negatives) and I even offered to potentially rethink it if things appeared to improve. I also won't apologize for disliking the coffee and finding it so watery and tasteless that I didn't finish it. I don't care where the beans come from. The execution of the product was sub par.Take care.

Personal Blogger ReviewIf there was a way to leave a review with 0 Stars, this would be one. Purchased multiple items to try. Cupcake Dry and Inedible. Macaroon just Nasty. Pumpkin Loaf nearly dripping wet and soggy. Much like the other poor reviews of this small business, I personally spoke with the owner and received a strong backlash for questioning the quality of her products. She did a partial refund and tried her best 'NOT' to address the problem and ended up stealing from me due to "the cost of being a small business and justify paying overhead expenses".This is why small business's struggle and wonder why they get a bad review, but it's based off how you treat your customers and quality of goods.
