Good hamburger and fries, excellent customer service. Fresh food and excellent Dr Pepper soda

Employees act like they're upset to even be there. Burger was so greasy it was inedible. The buns were drenched like they'd been soaked in grease. Didn't even take a bite, just threw it away.

I am pretty sure one of the elderly ladies that works here has a true mental disorder. She's constantly screaming at her fellow colleagues and quiet frankly appears to be a monster. They let other airport employees jump the line and prepare their food very quickly while passengers wait. THIS IS HORRIBLE SERVICE especially since I see every week how little some of these employees actually work.

We went to this place for dinner while on a layover. They were super fast! And the workers were very kind to listen to my very talkative kid.

Guy playing the piano was the best part! The cook hated me, all my burger toppings were rolled up with my sandwiches just that none of my toppings were on the burgers, and don't ask for extra Mayo the cook won't give it to you. Service from everyone elsewas best described as sullen. Piano guy is awesome!

Burger sat in a bag on the counter and no one called the number. They said I must not have heard even though I was standing at the counter. I watched 2 employees sit on their butts in the back doing absolutely nothing. Watched the grill and fryer not being used while orders just pulled up. Anyone that asked a question was met with a short sarcastic response. $20 for a cheeseburger, fries, and coke… there are better options

I had a pretty long layover but it wasn't long enough to get through the line at Chick-fil-a. Lucky for me, just across the aisle was Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries where the line was almost nonexistent. Well, I did have a little wait to order as I was standing in the pick-up line versus the order line. Oopsie. I ordered an egg, cheese and chicken croissant. As you can see from my photo, I received a biscuit instead. I had all of my luggage situated at a table and frankly, it was too much effort to go back up and get the right sandwich. You may also notice from my photo that my biscuit sandwich does not look particularly appetizing. Luckily, it actually was much better than it looked. It was a little bland - a touch of syrup may really have kicked it up a notch. Once again, I was entrenched and packing up all of my things to get a packet of syrup was just way too much trouble. The sandwich pretty much self destructed as I ate it - the chicken fell out, the unmelted cheese dangled down the side and the biscuit disintegrated. I ended up eating most of my sandwich with my fingers (yep, too much effort to get a fork). This is not something to order if you plan on eating at the gate or on your flight. There was plenty of seating in a court behind the restaurant. I'm currently sitting on the plane and all I can smell is the odor of grease wafting about me. My husband calls me a beagle because of my keen sense of smell so this may be a nonissue for you. I guess all in all, Boardwalk did what it was supposed to do - it satiated my hunger enough that the cookie on my flight was a treat rather than a meal. Would I go back? Probably not, but if you just can't wait in the chick-fil-a line, this may be the place for you.

In the back of the food court of Concourse A, past the lines of people waiting to order from the court's stalls is a hidden gem - Boardwalk Fresh Burgers. I found no lines to wait in. Walked up to the counter and ordered a Mushroom Swiss. I had to wait - no precooked goods here.I found there are plenty of tables back past the counter, in fact the best views of the Delta flight line. My burger was obviously handmade and surprise! a double burger. The Boardwalk burgers might take some getting used to. They are very juicy. The patties might try to escape out the back door if you don't pay attention. But the compact construction guarantees burger, Swiss, onions, and 'shrooms in every bite.
