Stayed here as a stopover before flying back to UK after 3 wks in USA. It’s a lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and excellent service. Free shuttle to and from domestic terminals. However, you’re miles from downtown Atlanta so you are caught in the hotel food trap which was lovely but extortionately expensive. However, we were tired and just wanted to eat and sleep. Lovely pool areas and towels. Hotel let us keep room til 3 pm
We did two nights one on either side of our international trip. This place gets 2 stars from me. One for the friendly front desk staff and one for the location. That's it. The rest of the staff was either lackadaisical or just untrained and the rooms were surface clean at best. We had to move on our second night because the room they put us in smelled so bad we could not even get in there all the way. The restaurant is over priced and the service there was laughable. Would not recommend. Wait staff seemed bothered to help me, maybe they thought I was just sitting down but was looking at the menu so you would assume I was there to eat. Ordered the wings and they arrived fairly quickly but by the taste and texture I would think probably accurate timing based on how long does it take to microwave some frozen wings. It is a hotel restaurant but then again being a Westin I was looking for and expecting more especially for the price.
