I went here today and ordered 3 meals, chicken wings and fries, perch and fries and gizards and fries, $30 something bucks. I told the gentleman not to cook the gizzard hard. He said you want them soft right? I said yea. The food ones up and I said u didn't cook the gizzard hard did you? He says no and show me the gizzard. So I looked and he then says well its chicken so you have to cook it longer, it will be a little chewy He says. I know the gizzard are hard but I'm ready to go. So I get my food and leave. I open the freaking gizzards and they are hard as @#$%. So I trash them before I made it home so I didn't get a picture. So I get home and open the fish and it's super @#$%@ crispy, which I didn't ask for. So I trash the fish and open the wings. Low and behold the freaking wings are hard ? ? also. I asked for my gizzards a certain (soft) way and he gave me what he wanted. I will never ever return to this place. I did take a picture of the fish. For those that like extra hard food, I'm sure they ask for it. I didn't and you shouldn't have cooked my food so freaking hard.

So I ordered the gizzards. One fried regular and one fried crispy. The crispy fried one was so crispy that the meat was completely dried up. I mean no meat just a box of crisp. The regular fried ones was completely hard. Had to chew forever but gave up because they were like leather. Gave a couple to my dog who still had a hard time. This place used to be the best place to get gizzards on this side of town. I mean none of it was edible for a human. My husband didn't look in the container because we never had an issue before but the crispy fried ones were the color of dark chocolate. Most horrible experience I ever had with restaurant food and a complete waste of money.

Have went here the last 2 days for shrimp fried in cornmeal with seasoning. Today was my last time. I ordered 20 fried shrimp and a piece of fish. I get the order and the shrimp is over cooked with the shell on, so it hadnt been deveined. It was the worst. The fish was good but for my disatisfaction. I would just go to Jj's Fish Fry instead. Why would the owner just serve this without asking me first?

This was my 1st time trying this restaurant. I should have read the reviews before going, but I didn't. The customer service is non existent. The guy at the front had no personality and didn't seem like he wanted to be at work. More importantly, the food was HORRIBLE! I ordered Talapia and fries and my husband order the 2 item shrimp and whiting. All the food was dry and way over cooked. The food didn't have any flavor, (the fish was coated with what tasted like unseasoned corn meal) and was just way too expensive for the portion served. I will NEVER eat here or any other Red Snapper EVER AGAIN. It's just overpriced for no reason. Btw, I was going to try their wings, bc im a wing fanatic, but they wanted to charge almost $10 for a 6 piece wing and fry. I explained to the guy that I didn't want the fries, bc my tilapia meal comes with fries, but he said they don't sell wings Ala carte. Smh! Any way to further rip of customers I guess. It was probably for the best that I didn't get the wing combo. Take heed to my review. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The fish was not good at all!! The chicken wings wasn't bad just smelled burnt like old grease. The fries were also horrible. The perch, snapper and whiting were horrible. The flounder was eatable. Will never give this place another try.....guess that's why they weren't busy when we came.Parking: Shared parking lot

I bought the 3 item combo with red snapper, 8 piece shrimp and 2 perch. I ate the food except for one piece of perch. Then immediately had to vomit the whole thing up. Will NEVER EAT HERE OR AT ANY OTHER RED SNAPPER EVER AGAIN! They are lucky I don’t sue for food poisoning. I felt fine about 1 after the vomiting so I’m not sick so it’s something about the food. Either the cook didn’t wash his hands or what I’m not sure but I am sure I will never eat here again!

This spot used to be above ok but it’s slum now. The food is way too expensive. I got 2 little red snapper fillets with okra and a order of hush puppies since they don’t give you hush puppies like most seafood restaurants do. My total cam up to $24.07. They can kiss my black @$$. I’ll never go back up there. I’m really done with all these Chicago spots setting up shop in Atlanta with sub par food.

I call a order in the manager says he never had catfish nugget plate with gizzards on the menu. I go up there and show it to him on my phone and he tells me. "Whats that mean". I say here is your address and your online menu. Very nasty attitude argued with me. When he is at fault for false advertising. While conversating i seen a rat fly across the floor in the kitchen.
