The outside was closed so I had to deduct a star...However this was not our first time visiting Cafe Le Rue, and it will not be our last #?

I did not care for the penne pasta paired in the pasta Monica. The beignets were hard. The flavor was not good tasted old and stale. I do not recommend eating here. ?

Owner was very nice. Food was very good. Waitress could not have been more uninterested in being there. Was very short with us. We are normally good tippers. She only got about 12% due to service.

Didn’t have many choices of food.. The menu on the website had a lot of food choices than the menu in the restaurant.

The Cajun dishes always hit and the portions are enormous. The mimosa’s by the pitcher make this a pretty perfect brunch spot (probably the best in Columbus). The place is small so seating is quite limited but when the weather is nice their patio is pretty neat.

For my first visit the food and was delightful and tasteful! Shrimp and grits were off the chains!!!? The atmosphere was quaint and took you to Louisiana with all it's Cajun/Creole decor. I'll definitely be revisiting the place to try more of it's tasty dishes!

Had the Mardi Gras it has shrimp, crayfish & sausage in a pasta also had Cajun peel & eat shrimp. Everything was good and the price was decent just needed some more flavor cause it was bland in some spots. Overall I'll try it again.Parking: It's in a big plaza

Very tiny place. Thankfully, it was dead when we arrived or we would have had lunch with strangers.Actual menu, differed from the online version. Ordered the fried green beans. Would have been pretty good if the grease they were fried in, wasn't old.Boyfriend's pasta was a bigger helping than I expected, but the crawfish and shrimp must have been invisible. Pasta should come with a breadstick or roll, something. Doesn't have to be unlimited, but a piece of bread goes a long way.My po'boy was popping with shrimp and honestly, tasted better than I had hoped. Fries weren't great but I didn't exactly want to try this place for french fries.Service was decent. Seems like she had already had a long day.Beignets also would have tasted better, had they not been cooked in old grease. Had that dark color and oily taste that food gets when grease is overused.

It's a small cozy restaurant with a Louisiana theme to it. The food wasn't really my taste but I LOVED the beignets! I'll go back every once in a while for them.

The owner and the servers are not very nice at all. The food is okay. I’d save yourself the headache or at least try it out yourself and hopefully get better costumer service. They’re very dismissive and rude and apparently this is a normal for them. It takes nothing to be kind. :) Wish this business the best.

Very nice atmosphere. We got one of the pastas, the shrimp and grits and also beignets for dinner. Food was great I personally liked the pasta over the grits. The beignets personally could’ve been better but they were good.

Very poor quality food. My party had high hopes based off of other reviews. I have never had canned diced tomatoes on poboys and hamburgers. It was just gross. The boiled shrimp were good.

The food is great! I really miss the boom boom sauce! It was delicious on everything! I will request Becca as my server every time I go from now on! She was so nice and funny! She treated me like she had known me for years! I have anxiety and she made my visit to Cafe Le Rue very comfortable!
