Great little place tucked away next to a Shell station! We've eaten here several times and have always been satisfied. Service can be a tad slow when they are busy, but the staff is very friendly. Seafood is delicious! The smoked mahi doo, calamari and fried crab claws are great appetizers. The shrimp pompano, fried grouper, grouper Panama, chargrilled oysters, Brussels sprouts, collard greens are all amazing. Definitely one of the best places in town and fairly priced for what you get.

I questioned the high price of propane. The next thing I heard was to go somewhere else from the guy behind the counter. What a ridiculous customer service.

Great food and great service! Samantha was our server she was very nice and helpful. The chargrilled oysters were incredible and definitely try the homemade keylime pie!

Definitely, worth trying. If you like seafood, the history of this restaurant is amazing love the service our waiter was very attentive. The oysters did have a some crunch in them, so be careful when you're eating them. I grew up on the coast so being a seafood snob I can say that I've had better but definitely worth a shot if you've never been. Love the decor and the ambience in the restaurant it makes you feel like you're in Florida for your dinner stay.

Disappointed to say the least . I got room temperature calamari , sent it back and received rubbery calamari and over cooked shrimp to replace it ....sent it back and left with 6 oysters in me for dinner . My server , Jacob was great and embarrassed . To add to my experience , I got a very weak bourbon & 7 and a "Big salad " with grilled chicken and a fried shrimp appetizer to bring home for my wife . The salad was very small and there was no chicken on the salad , instead , 4 grilled shrimp . All for a mere $60 plus tip .

Delicious seafood. I had my first charbroiled oysters there. The staff is friendly & patient, very willing to answer questions. Wonderful place fit a special meal.

This place is amazing! The food was on the higher end but over all was a great place to eat. The service was amazing, friendly, and quick for how busy they were at the time. Love this place, definitely worth going and recommend this place!

I was surprised on the cleanliness and service of this "hole in the wall" restaurant. The food was decent. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

My mother and I came into town and ran upon Bluewater Grill. The restaurant is adjacent to a gas station and the one thing I'll say is this -- don't judge a book by it's cover!! We started off with a bowl of the She Crab Soup and a dozen raw oysters. The soup was superb and creamy. There are days when I prefer it to be brothier however I was in the mood for something rich and this hit the spot. The oysters were shucked and prepared well; specifically clean and cold just how I like it! They were a really great size as well! For dinner, my mother opted for the House Salad with Shrimp in a Citrus Vinaigrette. The shrimp were a decent size and the spring greens were a nice surprise as my mother expected iceberg lettuce. I had a hodge-podge of items: the catfish with their spicy creole sauce along with brussel sprouts and corn. I travel and eat varieties of great food and what I'll say is this -- they did a superb job on the breading of the catfish! And the Brussel Sprouts were a simple flash fry that left a perfect amount of crunch.I didn't expect much from Bluewater Grill but was pleasantly surprised in the food and flavors. Kudos to the chef who was asked out by a separate table for a commendation. Great job on your food and thank you to the rest of Bluewater Grill who made our meal in Columbus so enjoyable.

In town for one night. We decided some seafood would be fun and found this place on TripAdvisor. We drove about 15 min from our hotel but before we went to the restaurant we stopped at a gas station to fill up. When we were back in the car my son said the restaurant is showing in gps as right here. Attached to the gas station was what looked like a rather run down place. But we tried it. Fantastic Food. Absolutely terrific!!!!! Great service too!! My son had raw oysters which he said were delicious. I had the crab claw app and melt in my mouth!! My son had shrimp and grits which also were wonderful and I had fried shrimp which were big and delicious. Please don’t be turned off by the outside. Inside it’s a charming place and great food!!!

Remodeled station so it looks nice but I won't be going back. I pay at he pump and they charge more for credit than they do for cash.

So glad we didn’t read the reviews before visiting this restaurant. My BF and I both had the She Crab Soup which was fantastic. We also ordered the grouper (fish and chips basket), no heavy breading on the fish and we substituted mashed potatoes instead of French fries. Our server Candace was very informative regarding the menu selections and her recommendations were spot on! Great service and delicious food, can’t wait to eat here again!

This is an excellent bisque! Adding the rolls and a small salad was enough for me. What a great meal! My girlfriend had the fish and chips. The grouper was like butter, it melted in your mouth, it was sooo good. Candice, our waitress was excellent and gave us suggestions for our meals. What a great source of knowkedge. Thank you for a great meal and time.

Very slow service, 40 minutes for two greasy heavily breaded fish fry dinners and a skimpy “taco special”. This is very high priced fast food—but of MRE quality at best. The chef would do well to keep his duff in the kitchen rather than plunking it down at the bar and slowing that service—40 mins toget a drink this visit. The best thing at this location might be the gas station.

The raw oysters are fabulous. The first visit we were offered the house spicy sauce but it was not offered on the 2nd visit.
