Good sandwiches. Portion sizes are a little small. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely eat lunch here again.

Cuban sandwich was delicious, especially the mojo dipping sauce. My only complaint is that the sandwiches are a bit small for the price.

Great place for a delicious meal of sandwich and soup.I didn’t get the name of the worker, but she was so sweet and kind. We had four orders of sandwiches, and we felt bad since she was the only one working at the time. She was working fast for us though, so I’m not sure what the other reviews are going on about “slow workers”.

It was a bad service for the group I was with. The attitude and food was both disgusting. We won't be

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about, honestly. I've eaten at Mama Goldbergs several times over the years when in town for work. The Cuban with the mojo dipping sauce is fantastic. It's my go to. And yes, the "nachos are 'just' Doritos with cheese sauce and jalapenos on them" but they are pretty good and unique in my experience across the country. It's a lunch that I look forward to when in town. If the nachos aren't your thing, a bag of chips is also an option, and cheaper. Locally owned and been around for awhile. I'll take it over the other big box sandwich places any day.

Was a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. Service was a tad bit slow but nothing to write home about. I got whichever sandwich has the turkey and mozzarella and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was starving so I think that made it extra good. Go to Mama G's to satisfy your sandwich needs.

Momma needs to have a talk with her staff. The cashier did nothing to fix the broken soda machine and when we asked for a recommendation, she actually referred to the meatball sandwich as "disgusting "? I'm sure Momma doesn't know that. Otherwise, the sandwiches were pretty mid.

We ordered this for delivery and were absolutely shocked when it arrived and not in a good way at all. I wish I had thought to take pictures but I was honestly just so shocked when it arrived. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I ordered a wrap and it was ok and we ordered some cookies to share and they were good. Otherwise, for the money we spent we could have gotten 4 of the huge sub sandwiches at any other sandwich place in town in comparison to what we spent here and got so little. My husband ordered a build your own sandwich and I am honestly at a loss of words at how little meat was on there. I don't even know what to compare it to but I literally thought it looked like two of those mini-sandwiches you get at weddings or after funerals because it was cut in half, except they had less meat. There was also no way to add veggies online but the way it was worded on the menu we thought they came with. Nope! So, I had ordered just a house salad but I ordered the bigger $10.10 Momma Goldberg's size thinking we would share it. Well, my ten dollar salad would just maybe fill one of the small Corelle bowls or a Dixie paper bowl. My husband used it mostly to dress his little naked sandwich. I literally am struggling because if you look at my other reviews they tend to be more positive. I just don't understand how they stay open. Maybe we just picked the wrong items but even with inflation, I don't know how they justify their prices for what you get. I am not even including the extra costs for the delivery including the tip we gave our driver because we were doing delivery no matter what. We just know that we will never order from here again and I hope this helps someone else spend their money somewhere else so they get what paid for.

One of the most over priced and under satisfying meals I've ever had. Small portions, high prices, bland food. Potato soup tastes like a cup of warm milk. Sandwich very small for $16. Can't say this is a place I'd return.

Best sandwiches in town. Nevermind Staleway or Firehouse subs. The only thing is you will get harassed by the homeless. Hang out right in front of the store downtown. Nothing wrong with helping the homeless but... When they expect you to give them left overs or get a nasty attitude because you didn't bring them anything that becomes a problem. Coming up to my kids asking them what they got when I'm standing right there with them. They have nothing for you I as an adult might depending on your attitude. Columbus GA is already like Atlanta. But yea Mama's got some killer sandwiches and wish they were still on Manchester expressway.

Decent food. Employees look bored to death. It wouldn't hurt to smile. Give it a try.
