Some of the best Caribbean food I've had in years. Here, TDY, and literally just came back from Jamaica and hands down better than any food I had there. The everything from the beef patty to the perfectly ripened and cooked plantains the food was delicious. Of all the places I have eaten near Ft. Moore, it is the only other place besides Black Cow I have recommended to everyone in my travel party. This place is a MUST EAT for anyone looking for great Caribbean food.

The food was so good I didn’t even get a picture. The jerk chicken was full of flavor and juicy, plantains fried to perfection and green beans were well seasoned.

I have never been spoken to in the manner in which the owner spoke to me about a refund for the food that didn't agree with my family it made us sick to our stomachs the owner says her doctor told her it takes 24hrs for food poisoning to show up and for us to take it to court and all that was so unnecessary and called for and very embarrassing with other customers in the restaurant the customer being right has no place in her business as I asked her kindly to lower her attitude cause I didn't have one with her she told me to get my doctors and lawyer see her in court with hers pretty much what she told me to do and then I left words that I'm not proud of two wrongs don't make it right however be aware of the private owned businesses you go to cause they govern by their own merit and $79 of my money went town the toilet ( literally ) and figuratively I hate to do this to a black owned business however we as black owned businesses have to do better by the customers also #NeverAgain #BadBusiness

During the Black History Celebration at Shaw High School, they had food trucks come out and we stopped by Rose's Caribbean and ordered the jerk chicken, jerk fried rice, and collards...and oh my goodness ? it was so yummy that we went back for seconds. The food was cooked with love and care, I tasted the seasoning all the way through the chicken. They were friendly, with great service, and great food.

Patties taste like cornmeal. Macaroni has no flavor at all. Oxtail had way too much fat on it. It may sound harsh but it's the truth. Mercy's is 10x better.

Super friendly people and great good. Looks like it's more of a carry-out clientele but they did have tables. Jerk chicken, sweet potatoes, black-eye peas and green beans were all perfect. I passed on Key Lime pound cake for some reason but want to go back for that.

Extremely tasty food and friendly service. What more could you ask for. Food was spiced and flavorful. We will return.
This way a big disappointment. First of all presentation is everything. When I opened the tray I immediately was disappointed because who serves ppl food that looks like dog straps. This looks like this meal was leftovers from the day before and this what was left at the bottom of the pot. The flavor was there but overall this is not what I was expecting. I paid $20 for this meal right along with an order of plantations which was fried a little too hard couldn’t really enjoy them as I would have loved too because of the brunt taste. I expected to get my money worth and I didn’t. Very disappointing

Today I got ox pasta, a beef patty with coco bread and a side of plaintain. The coco bread was very soft texture of a Hawaiian roll. Personally I got full just off the patty by itself, but the oxtail was very tender literally falling off the bone. The plaintain was so hot it almost scolded my mouth, everything was fresh and very great tasting !!

I love this place. The food is excellent every time I come. Good service at the counter. It’s not a fancy restaurant but it feels like a familiar comfort as soon as you open the door. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. So glad someone recommended it to me.
The food is very over priced. It seems as if the restaurant's main concern is sells. The taste and quality of food could be a lot better. The restaurant being the only Caribbean spot in town leave no choice for many.
