Salt Cellar couldn’t be a finer, fine dining restaurant. My wife and I and our son dined there this evening. We shared a tasting appetizer: delicious. My son and I each ordered the sea bass special. It was cooked perfectly (not easy to do) and the charred broccoli rabe was tender (also not easy to do). My wife ordered the crab cakes with Brussel Sprouts. She loved it. And said so afterwards. My son had a side of mac and cheese. He said it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. My wife and I shared a slice of coconut cake, moist and fresh. Better than any coconut cake I’ve ever ordered in Harlem. I highly recommend the old-fashioned: different and refreshing. Angel was our waitress and she’s the best.

Would be 5 stars if they seasoned thier food. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was unseason shrimp and no salt added grit cakes I asked for extra sauce and it was a upcharge, and the price is a bit much other than that the service and restaurant was excellent.Parking: It's typical down town broad way parking. I had to walk 2 blocks to find parking.

Ordered the 16 ounce ribeye Looked great but obviously they do not trim their steak nor the Gristle! Chewy and full of fat! My suggestion stay at home and cook your own steak. You’ll be a lot happier and you’ll save a lot of money!!

I HATE to say this but I was extremely underwhelmed with my first experience at saltcellar. I’ve heard multiple bad things about the food but I’m not picky at all so I decided to try for myself. We don’t get many kid free nights, so we were very particular in picking a restaurant. Unfortunately we wish we picked a different place for our date night due to the food, not the service. Just wanted to make that clear.Hostess was amazing and friendly! We could not find parking so I called her to let her know we were running behind and apologize. She was extremely sweet and gracious. Sat us right away even though we arrived a few minutes after our reservation. Our server Melyssa was attentive and friendly. Super sweet. Now for the food. The crab cake appetizer was served over spicy corn? Thought that was really strange. I enjoyed that more than my entree though. For entrees we ordered the surf and turf and the filet medallions topped with crab. Everything tasted like char from the grill. No seasoning, no flavor, just meat that smelled and tasted like ashes. So bland and smokey. I ordered chimichurri sauce because I love it so much, and that was also gross and flavorless.Dessert was also disappointing. Oreo cake was over baked and the banana pudding cheesecake didn’t taste like banana at all.

GO SEE CHRISTOPHER!! We had a party of 23 for a conference get together. He sat us early, filled all of our drinks timely, made sure we had our fun drinks timely, food came out amazingly, he even chatted with us and made the MOST fun experience there. All without missing a beat. The checks were divided all ways possible and they were all correct when he brought them. I’ve seen great servers, but he is on another level here. We will be back anytime we’re in Columbus to see him!!!

My husband and I sat at the bar since it was a fairly busy Saturday evening. We were served promptly and the two bartenders were friendly and just the right amount of attentive. I have ordered cake from here a few times (it’s the BEST) but this was my first dinner experience here. We ordered the lobster fritters which has a good balance of texture and flavor. I had the filet Oscar (my go-to) which came with potatoes and asparagus. My filet was cooked perfectly and had fantastic flavor. It was definitely in line with Grayson’s in Newnan. My husband had the seafood pasta. We cleaned our plates and then had the chocolate cake. We were hoping for strawberry but with dessert here, one can never go wrong. We will be back, for sure. Some reviewers complain on pricing but I truly believe these prices are well below what other restaurants nearby charge with inferior products (for example the Stock Market).

My chicken, potatoes and beans were good. Not exceptional but good. The wife had coconut shrimp and a side salad. Her shrimp were way overcooked. The salad was good.

the service was amazing. from the hostess, waitresses & the reservation process. the food was amazing. I had the seafood pasta. so good! The drinks were strong but good. I had two dragon fruit mai tais. We came for my sister’s birthday. She wanted to try lobster tail . She had it with a ribeye steak that she didn’t really care for because she said everything was over seasoned.

I've been here a few times, and truth be told, it's just ok. There's nothing to rave about. I do wish they had better side options besides asparagus and the tasteless greenbeans with almonds On my last visit my food was cold and I asked could they pop it in the microwave or something they said no because they didn't have a microwave in the back but they could redo my meal and I was over it because we had already waited for a very long time for the food to come out and honestly it wasn't that many ppl there on a Tuesday so I didn't understand why the food would be cold.
