This place was hired 30 DAYS before my brother in law’s memorial/celebration of life.They were supposed to arrive with food at 2. That didn’t happen!TWO & A HALF HOURS later someone delivered baked beans and two pans of loaf bread!!! Then someone showed up with a tray of shredded chicken and ZERO sauce!They ruined the event!PS…the beans were ok but the chicken had bones in it!DON’T DO IT!!!

To say that this “catering” BBQ establishment was a disappointment would be an understatement and a disservice to the community. My family hosted a memorial/celebration of life event for my father and made the grave mistake of choosing them for the catered/food portion of it. The event started at 2:00 PM and ended at 5:00. Once we came upon the hour and a half mark of them not showing up, calling, or anything, we decided to take matters into our own hands and call them to inquire as to what exactly was going on. They initially lied and said verbatim that “someone came but nobody was there to receive it” when a) we were literally watching and waiting for them and b) the entire venue was very open with great visibility of the entire entrance and parking lot. The “food” which consisted only of boiled, shredded chicken with bones in it, baked beans with clumps of hamburger meat, and bread finally showed up at 4:23, a mere 37 minutes before the event ended. They said they would be “right back” with pork and more sides; they weren’t. I am STRONGLY urging anyone reading this to steer away from Sam’s and in the direction of a more professional and edible company. The only reason I am even giving them one star is in order to leave a review.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Sams BBQ was catered for a private memorial service for a dear friend. the event started at 2P.M. the food did not arrive until 4 P.M. After several calls and lies to women who lost her husband. When the food did arrive it was only shredded chicken and baked bean (not to good). They did not provide any plates or cutlery. Beware.
