Megan is amazing. She’s a very attentive and friendly bartender that has no problem going out of her way for refills, togo boxes, extra condiments, etc for your meals. The food is great - fish and chips are the best but the pub burger is awesome too! Perfect lunch spot for me downtown!

Sat at the mostly empty bar for 10 minutes before the bartender stopped chatting with her friends to serve me. She took my card to start a tab and brought a beer but left before I could ask for a menu. Tried to catch her eye to ask for a menu but she was to busy hanging out to look around. I had to get up and walk down the bar to ask her for a menu and another beer. After deciding what I would order I waited and waited, trying to get the her attention but she was still busy chatting and having a good time with her friends at the end of the bar. I finally stood up and one of her friends noticed me and sent her down. When I told her I was ready to order, she said" oh, the kitchen closed 15 minutes ago" and started to walk away. I immediately asked for my tab before she could take off again. Horrible service and I won't be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming Irish bar in the heart of downtown, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm Irish hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The selection of Irish beers and whiskies was impressive, and the live music added to the authentic Irish experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every guest was well taken care of.I highly recommend trying their traditional Irish dishes. The bar's decor and ambiance truly captured the essence of Irish culture.Overall, my visit to this Scruffy was a delightful experience, and I can't wait to go back for more. If you're looking for a taste of Ireland right in the heart of the city, this is the place to be.

When it takes an hour to make fish and chips and it still does not show up. You know it's bad. Literally walked out. Terrible service. Lack of awareness between bartender and server. Slow service and again worst kitchen ever. Management needs to take a hard look at service at kitchen and bar.

Came on a Saturday night around 8:30. Sat at the bar with my spouse. Service was friendly and drinks were mixed well. It started to get a little crowded but it was never too loud. We ordered the fish & chips recommended by a friend. They were huge fillets. The tartar sauce was delicious, but the fish could use more seasoning. Overall a good experience and will come again.Parking: If you come during busy hours, it will be hard to find a parking spot nearby. Be prepared to walk a block or 2.
