The atmosphere was splendid and the service couldn’t have been better. That’s where the good ends.To start, we had a half dozen oysters. Honestly, there was nothing special about them and they were quite overpriced. We then had an underwhelming beet salad followed by a board of meat with a (small) side of cheeses. I’ve never seen such large and thick cuts of deli meat on a charcuterie board; however, the salmon and blue cheese did stand out. Finally, onto the main course- a 16 oz ribeye. I think it was stared it earlier reviews, but I’ve had better at Texas Roadhouse. For $55, I expected something a little above average.Overall, vibes were immaculate, but I wouldn’t recommend based on quality to price ratio.

We dined here several times over the last year and seems like the food quality has went down and the prices are ridiculously high for the quality of food that is served. There are several restaurants within walking distance that offer much better food for the same or less money. I do not think I will return.

This place is great for special occasions! Got the ribeye and it was amazing!! Bartender makes a special cocktail that changes daily so had to obviously try that. Very quiet atmosphere and was easy to make reservations online.

Misleading - So this was not my first visit but will probably be my last. I have actually been to Stockmarket several times and enjoyed each visit. This time I left not pleased. Our waiter, Justin was nice when he did have a chance to check on us. I'm not the type of person to ask what is included in a meal but you definitely need to do that now. I ordered Salmon and was asked what sides did I want only to find out, after I received the bill, that sides didn't actually come with it and that each side was an additional charge. So for 2 people with an entrée and 2 sides being charge for each item. The total was more that I expected. On top of that I found out, after my credit card charged, there was a cash amount and a credit card amount. For the most part the food was good and the service was ok. I wish that I was told in the beginning that items were not included or there were additional charges. I also wish I was told, before my credit card was swiped, that there was a cash amount vs a credit amount. I totally understand and respect paying for services but I want the option of being told upfront. I think you will have a hard time getting customers to return if you continue service like this. I use to enjoy visiting Stockmarket unfortunately, I can't feel comfortable being mislead. This is a place that I've recommended to friends but I won't do that again. I hope they consider being transparent with their customers in the future.

This wasn’t our first time coming to Stock Market. The last experience we had was amazing. Food was wonderful, service was awesome and so were the cocktails. The experience tonight was very disappointing. We called before our reservation to make sure it was okay to bring a bottle of wine for a corking fee, as we had an out of town guest who wanted to share a bottle of wine he brought. We were told yes, it wasn’t a problem, but from the first greeting of the server it felt like a problem. The only greeting really was a comment about us bringing a bottle of wine and if it needed to be opened. 3 of the 4 guests at the table ordered drinks prior to opening the wine we brought. Our server never discussed anything on the menu. If there were specials - we definitely didn’t know. We ordered the goat cheese fritters for a table of four … there was no recommendation to maybe get two orders because only three small fritters would be served (three was insane for the price. I expected more than three small fritters but ??‍♀️). Three of us ordered curry squash soup. I was out of water for the entirety of the appetizer and the soup. Our main dishes came out on top of our soup (which I know happens sometimes as I’ve waited tables before). My husband had to ask a different waiter for water. Food wise the redfish was wonderful. The soup was wonderful. The skirt steaks were poor cuts that were fatty and tough. Also this trip the sides were on the dish instead of brought out in separate dishes. Last time we came it was nice that we could get a few al a cart sides and share. It want really the same this time around. At this point I’m feeling embarrassed that I brought an out of town guest to this spot.Honestly if the service had been amazing I wouldn’t be writing a negative review right now, but I don’t think I’ve been to an establishment of this scale and paid these prices for food to walk out feeling completely frustrated. I would have given the benefit of the doubt if the place was busy, but that wasn’t even an excuse that could be used. Before leaving hearing OUR server talk to a different table about portion sizes for apps made it feel like we weren’t even wanted as a table. Had I known our guest bringing a bottle of wine would be at the expense of good service I would have told them to leave the bottle at home. I’ve never experienced such horrible service - especially for the level of dining this restaurant is supposed to be. If someone asks you, the server, for butter to add to the potatoes I honestly don’t think it’s appropriate to half laugh while replying. It came off condescending and rude.Shout out to the waiter we had the last time we were in though— he had the table behind us and was attentive and I genuinely wished we had had him tonight.I don’t think we will be back.

We have regularly visited this establishment as a group as we are tasked to work in Columbus monthly. Though pricey, the food quality was good enough to justify splurging. A change has obviously occurred as dishes we recommended to newer colleagues, as well as tried and true oprions picked for ourselves, arrived to our table looking and tasting significantly different than on previous visits. The lobster poutine had very little lobster, the burger meat was dry, the goat cheese croquettes were half the original size ($16 or $18 bucks for 3 that are now the size of cotton balls), the lobster mac appeared to include much less lobster, and the chautabriand was unrecognizable and lackluster. It's a beautiful spot with historucally good offerings, but the changes have us second guessing continuing to spend $100/person. I'm hoping this can be remedied, but am in agreement with my colleagues to find a different spot if our next visit is similarly disappointing. We recognize that transitions have hiccups, but encourage this lovely place to either reduce prices or get back to the quality we appreciate.

If I could give this place a 6th star, I would. From the convenient location to the atmosphere, food and staff, I absolutely recommend this place. Everything was absolutely amazing and super convenient from my work place. Had the oysters, crab cakes and a Stockyard burger. The crab cakes were soft and very well seasoned. The burger was great and the bacon jam was one of the best I've ever tried. The server, John was super friendly, funny and fast. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and flavors of the food. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

This is my first time dining in at this restaurant. Our server, Justin, was amazing. He was professional and knowledgeable about the menu. Also, he provided suggestions that were an excellent choice. Our bartender becka made some delicious signature margaritas. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I'll be returning!Parking: Free parking is available throughout the whole day. This does depend on the day of the week and time of day. They're some parking spaces where there's a 2 hr maximum stay.

Not super impressed. This wasn't our first time here. Actually had to prompt drink service after the waiter came to our table 2x. Once to greet, then to light a candle. Third time back, he almost left after checking on the special, and I had to ask if we could put our drink order in. It was noticeable because we were seated at the back by a door and it was very cold! I wanted a coffee. Oh, there was a power outlet running up the wall at our table lol!My gumbo was thin and bland with burnt tasting toast, our salads were average, and the fingerling potatoes were not seasoned. However, my husband's swordfish was very good and enjoyable. In all fairness, the quality of food doesn't justify the price point of this restaurant. The entree also requires ordering the sides separately. We don't mind spending the money if it feels like we got our money's worth. It was just OKAY.

Rather disjointed service. Actually had to prompt drink service. The gumbo was watery and bland, burnt tasting toast, salads were average and the potatoes were as bland as if seasoning was outlawed! That all aside, the swordfish was very good and enjoyable. In all fairness, the quality of food doesn't justify the price point of this restaurant.
