This has got to be the very best soul food restaurant I’ve ever experienced! The food is always hot and delicious. The staff has that friendly southern flair. The owner Sandra (I believe that’s her name) was friendly and made sure our visit went well.We don’t mind taking the drive from Atlanta to Columbus for the best soul food ever. The baked chicken and ribs were very tasty. The peach Cobbler is so good, get it to go if you are full after your meal so you don’t miss out!Parking: There is plenty of spacious parking so no worries there.

They turned me around at the front door “we aren’t serving regular customers”… I’m Caucasian… they were serving African Americans.. is that called discrimination?

I have to bring a pillow every time I eat here, cause I’m ready for my nap afterwards. Good eats.

Everything I had was not seasoned. At all. I won't be returning here

The food was delicious! We were passing through and really wanted some soul food. We were definitely pleasantly pleased. Upon entering, the staff were very welcoming & helpful. We both got the smothered oxtails. The meat selections all looked good. We had several sides collards greens, cabbage, cornbread dressing, candied yams, mac & cheese, cornbread and red velvet cake. They were all DELICIOUS. We loved every bite. We will definitely be back. Suggas is a must have! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff and service was great and so was the food.
Oooook! So it’s been quite a while since I’ve visited Sugga’s, I’d say about 5 years. The last time I went the portions were too small and honestly felt they were overpriced. Fast forward to todays visit. My portion size was pretty good. I ordered fried chicken, collards, yams and corn bread. The fried chicken was great, no complaints. The yams tasted funny, I can’t tell if they are canned or just cooked…..differently . The greens also tasted different plus I found a piece of 2 inch bendy aluminum in the greens. The corn bread wasn’t up to par on taste either, tasted like it came out of a box. The establishment needs more lighting, I could barely see my food choices. They are more expensive than the other restaurants that serve similar food. The staff were very friendly and gracious however I doubt I will be back as most of my food was not edible and finding material in it just completely cancels any chance of a return visit.

I went there 2 seperate times the 1st time the macaroni tasted Awful, but thought ok maybe it was just a bad batch, went the next day the meatloaf was not cooked fully and the dressing had the same awful taste as the macaroni and cheese. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
