It was unfortunate that my first experience here was not great. Going into the restaurant, I was expecting it to be exactly what I've heard or read about, but perhaps that gossip was referring to Travoli's on the Rapids. As for Blackmon Road Travoli's, I was not impressed whatsoever and would have been happier at Olive Garden where you order entrees and get soup/salad + bread sticks; not to mention better flavor, food, portions and quality. I ordered chicken fettuccine with added mushrooms, though the pasta was not fettuccine noodles at all. It lacked taste, no flavor and seemed as though the chicken was boiled and not cooked well, as it was still pink. We ordered bread for the appetizer (it is not included with the entrees and neither is a side or side salad) but it was really hot, fresh and delicious and served with olive oil and seasonings. Service was confusing and we didn't get an itemized receipt. They also serve little baby glasses of wine and did not have items in stock. It was definitely not what I expected, but perhaps I went there expecting more due to the name of the restaurant.*We also ordered dessert and it was delicious! Server said it was chocolate and peanut butter cheesecake.

1st time customer. Our waiter did not give us that enthusiastic service other tables around us received. She brought our drinks and took our order and left. We waited 15-20 mins waiting for her to appear back. My husband even got up to look for her because we did not get straws. When she finally came she said their straws were loose and not in an individually sleeve. Cool… we finally got straws. My husband ordered the special grouper with grits and shrimp. He said the grits were the best thing on his plate.I ordered the short rib risotto. I was served pot roast beef not short rib. The risotto was gummy not smooth and silky. The best thing on my plate were the brussle sprouts. They did spend plenty of time cutting up those star shaped carrots.Def not the experience we expected.

We were here for their Valentine's menu in this visit, but we've been here many times. Their food, service, and atmosphere are fantastic.

I had a bill for $89 for two people on a to go order. I got the sweet potato gnocchi. Not only was it visually unattractive, it was completely inedible. The gnocchi was hard and unseasoned and the only sauce was a ton of butter. It literally rolled around in the takeout box like marbles. My husband took a bite and immediately said that is awful! He is the least picky eater I know! There are too many good places to eat in Columbus to settle for very expensive bad food. We won't be back.

Great place to go for a quiet dinner. Menu has a great selection, and pasta is made at restaurants.

The bread does not come with the meal, it was extra the best part of the meal.

By far the best place to eat in town! This is a locally owned place and the owners are extremely hands on with their business and service. It truly shows in the experience and food they serve!EVERYTHING is exceptional and it’s always so hard choosing what to order. All of the dishes are homemade, fresh, and full of flavor. Plus the portion sizes are amazing.I recommend the spicy shrimp and lobster linguine, any of the risotto dishes, and Cajun Mac. But whatever you order, you won’t be disappointed!Be sure to save room for Brandi’s homemade cheesecakes when you come in.I can guarantee you’ll be coming back for more!

This was my first trip to this restaurant. The food was very good and well prepared. It was much better than your chain Italian restaurants. I wouldn't consider it an authentic Italian restaurant based on the food and the way it was served. For example, the pasta did not even have the pasta spoon. The service was okay but nothing spectacular. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, but nothing you need. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience for a reasonable price, so I recommend this if you have never tried it.

Great food, great service, plenty of parking. Kitchen was more than happy changing aspects of the dish for individual preferences. Go, go now!

My shrimp and lobster over linguine had a good taste but was too dry. It probably was because the noodles absorbed all the liquid. Chef should have expected this. Was disappointed that no side salad or bread accompanies their meals. Most Italian themed restaurants do this. When a entree costs $ 38.00 I feel they should offer salad and bread. Did not see a basic steak on the new menu. They should offer this. The short ribs looked good.
