It’s not really a BBQ place, I got BBQ pork sandwich that already had the BBQ on it and it was flavorless. My husband had chicken fried steak and it was just okay, the majority of the menu (written on a board) was mostly chicken, meatloaf and other non bbq items. The fried potatoes were pretty good, had bacon and red peppers in them. They have soda only in 2 liters but the sweet tea is delicious! I’ve been doing a tasting of local peach cuisine and so far this is the second best cobbler in town!

We love the food at Adams; we've been eating there for decades. When the pandemic hit, I know it was hard on them, like it was for all restaurants, but to their credit, they took early precautions, shut the dining room down, and started serving curbside. As regulations loosened up from our ill-advised governor, they opened the dining room, and though I didn't witness much "distancing" which was prescribed by law, the employees all, at least, wore masks. Slowly but surely, we began to see the masks worn haphazardly by the servers, until they've come to the point where they just don't bother at all. I have no idea if the people who cook the food wear masks, or what kind of health precautions they take, but, quite honestly, the impression I get is not good. I don't what your political leanings are, or what you believe or don't believe. Health laws are there for a reason. Just because the majority of your customers choose to scoff at the judicious health recommendations that are in place to protect their lives, and the lives of others, does not give employees who serve the public the right to do so, even if the owners, themselves, subscribe to this kind of laxness. We had been getting our meals to go from Adams, and when ALL the servers stopped wearing masks, we decided that we were not going to expose ourselves to even ordering inside anymore. Our last order was over the phone, and when the server kindly brought our order out to the car, she was not wearing a mask. As much as we like Adams Restaurant and have supported it for over two decades, we can no longer bring ourselves to go there any longer, while they show such blatant disregard for our health and well being. I'm tempted to call the County Heath Service and report them. But the County Inspector probably eats there. Such is life in Bartow County, where people live in their own world of denial and make believe.

good food just not enough country seasoning for me. I can do better cooking it myself i.e. fresh pinto beans had no flavor at all. I season mine with pork and onions.

Very Overpriced for the Low Quality Food on Menu. Many items not good, others barely. Iceburg Salads (?). Ordered a Catfish Dinner that turned out to be a 1 (3") piece of Catfish with 3 sides. Given 1 small condiment cup tarter sauce and no offer for more. What they call slaw, phew: Shredded Cabbage and Carrots mixed heavy with a heavy Mayonaise and nothing else. I told waitress I did not like it and take it away. She did not but attempted to charge me for it at the register anyway. She brought me a teaspoon sample of what they called Brunswick Stew.it is made with macaroni and I am not even going to try and guess what seasonings, NASTY squared. The people who did come in were all local utility workers and they all ordered either chopped steak with gravy or a hamburger. NOBODY ordered any BBQ product, period. That says enough about the BBQ. Double Purple Pen, Will Never Go Back. Extremely Overpriced for Low Quality NASTY food and going to charge you even after you tell them to take it back. Styrofoam drink cups. Menu, you get what you pay for and here, just nasty. No Sir.

I stopped here to pick up BBQ to go. Time was about 1:00 - 1:30 pm or so; they close at 2 pm. They were out of baked potatoes, and their banana pudding so I ordered sides that I didn't particularly care about, along with their pulled pork. The pork was extremely greasy, hated the sauce; not good at all, I threw mine away - couldn't even get through it! There weren't any customers in the dining area but the locals seem to give it good reviews??? We are yearly travelers to Georgia so won't we won't be going back.

I was in the mood for BBQ and decided to pull over and check Google Map. I pulled over at Adam's BBQ and said, "OK." I wish I had searched Google. The BBQ Pork sandwich was ok. No smokey flavor. Only flavor was the sauce. But people around me had orders Fried Chicken and vegetables. They looked good and everyone was enjoying their food. I was the only person in the place eating BBQ. Fries were good after I added salt.

I knew better than to go back here. Mrs BBQ had her mind made up so inside we went. I had pork. She had turkey. The pork wasn’t that bad. A little dry and over cooked but it was a generous portion. The turkey fell way short of that. It wasn’t bbq at all. Zero smoke equals zero flavor. It could have come straight out of a deli pack. I was just about finished with my pork and the next to last bite I bit down on something hard. At first I thought it was just outside bark . I later determined it was dried out pork that had to be at least several days old. Fortunately I did not chip a tooth, but it was that hard. If I ever take another step inside this joint just shoot me.

Adams has really good home cooked food on sundays for lunch! Everything I have tried there on sundays has been very good, and homemade tasting.

Paid $22.00 for sliced deli turkey, I should of know, No smoke or sauce on the tables, that it was not a real BBQ Restaurant. More like a school lunch, Will never recommend or go back, Also dont try posting on their facebook page, They review and delete your comments.
