This cook is super racist towards black people. I ordered a 3 chicken tenders basket that comes with fries and a drink like the menu say for $11.99. I was given 1 tender and fries. When we let the cashier know about the missing tenders, the cook came out and we were told the tenders were given by weight. I told the lady well your sign and menu say 3 tenders. She said it's a miss print. What the heck, that's not my fault your sign and menu says that. I want my missing tenders. I then asked for my money back. I said it again turning to my husband clapping that i want my money back. She then yells at me screaming dont be clapping at her. So yes I clapped again because you aint my mother and these are my hands. She was VERY RUDE and nasty. Telling me to never come back to her establishment. I will GLADLY never go back, but best believe I will be spreading the word around to my people to never patron this establishment. The cashier girl was nice though. All the lip and attitude came from the cook. Smh...its a sad world we live in. All I wanted was what I asked and paid for.

Been going here since 2014. This time I Showed up to get a tender meal and Brunswick stew. $10.30 on the tender-meal and I got literally 12 fries. Then I pulled the brown paper bag out of the plastic bag. The Brunswick stew (apparently it was leaking) fell right through it onto the floor. It went everywhere. I was done dirty asfffff.

There's a saying that where good food is that's where the line will be. This is the situation at Pippins. Expect GOOD food and friendly staff. Place will always be busy especially during holidaysMy family uses Pippins for Easter almost always like clockwork. Rated four stars as I've had better BBQ but it's still noteworthy to try. The stew is the prize though. Best place to get Brunswick stew in the Metro since Old Man Braxter himself died back in the day.I did rate it 4/5 also because of pricing. I get it. Inflation, supplies, cost of living etc, you pay for what you get. I've been going here since before a gallon of stew was $20 if not cheaper. So perhaps I'm too invested and biased there. But still worth the visit at least once to try the stew.

So I really have a problem with someone in food service being rude to me when i'm spending my money.So on this date I decide to go to pippen BBQ conyers placed my order got food and checked. So my ussue was the bread a simple fix I didn't want the butt end of the bread but this was a problem don't understand why? The lady /Man was very rude and making comments like it's bread but let me inform you I expect more at the prices that I'm paying. I feel that this cook is rude and doesn't have any customer service skills to deal with customers. So her attitude needs to change no need to be RUDE.....

I was local and issuing thru and stopped to eat here - ribs greatStew good - smoked wings are OMG yum !! Sell out daily - Smoked chicken salad I took home and eating for lunch and yum and so all in all yes this is the place to go - but my personal favorite with BBQ if you don't smell smoke when you pull up it's a waste of time -:-)))
