I was skeptical after reading some the the reviews. But my husband said "Let's just try it." I ordered the Reuben and my husband ordered the Turkey with avocado. Both sandwiches were delicious. They did not disappoint. Next time I'll try the Pastrami ?

This is a cute little spot in downtown Conyers, a throwback to soda fountain/deli counter places from the 50s. There are even photos of Elvis on the wall, which I absolutely loved. It's nothing fancy, but it's super cute and very homey. I was just passing through, but I got the feeling most of the people eating lunch when I visited were regulars. The restaurant advertises its Reuben as the star of the show, so I decided to order that. All of the meat and cheese is Boar's Head, and the bread was scrumptious. My sandwich was enormous, more than I could eat, and a simple pickle was the perfect accompaniment. If I'm ever back in the area and looking for a spot to grab lunch, I'll head here for very friendly service and excellent food.

1st time customer. Great customer service. Welcoming atmosphere. Had the Reuben sandwich. I didn't care for it. We also ordered a fully loaded hotdog. The chili was a big no. It didn't taste like chili, homemade or otherwise. Toppings cheese, onion etc. was very minimal. Overall we didn't like it either. The brownie was very hard and dry. However, because of the customer service and welcoming atmosphere, I will go again and just try something different. I do recommend giving them a try.

I drove past this location on my way to the local library. Glad I came back! Thanks to some solid Yelp reviews, I figured I'd have a good lunch here. Thanks to the previous three people that ordered right before me, I'd have the Chicken Med Wrap please. All the same- must be a favorite! It didn't disappoint. The men's restroom needs a new sink handle- it literally fell off in my hand. The main lady/owner? was walking around asking people who had which sandwich. Taking a name at order time would help cause less confusion.

We're new to the neighborhood and decided to pop into this cute and unassuming spot close to our home and wow we sure were glad we did. They were not kidding about the Reuben! Definitely best we've ever had. The chicken salad is nothing to turn your nose up at either. Made fresh with with details like rinsing the chicken in pickle juice to bring the boldness of flavor to this classic dish. Highly recommend!
